  1. Thanks bro for the research... I know where to put my Zoos now... hehe will be getting more since it's in trend now
  2. So it is not that rare? I thot I was lucky... now "kena" pursuaded to buy a fish that will never be able enjoy coz buried in the sand most of the time Anyone with experience? Will the Leopard Wrasse spend some time swimming around? Or only at night?
  3. Ok let me try again... if it works, I also wanna get one for myself
  4. Hehe... we have the same taste for LS... em... were there a lot left yesterday? They are from Maldives right? Liveaquaria says from Africa
  5. Another pix from Liveaquaria... guys, I have not seen the fish ever since I release it into my tank...
  6. A Pico... emm... phosguard can do the job I believe...unless u wanna try Rowaphos. There's also Rowaphos Sponge, contains both Rowahos and carbon 2-in-1... but quite costly. Check Reefdepot.com.sg What's yr Phosphate lvl?
  7. Like the story telling... keep it up!!! Sure your tank cen recover to its former glory. Can share with us full tank pix before semi-crash?
  8. Hehe bro... u gotto really plan ur budget properly... coz u got such a large tank, must go for solid/serious equipment already... a canister for example will definitely not suitable as the primary filter for your tank. If your tank haven't run yet, don't run it. Plan carefully, get the basic equipments first before adding any lifestock. In my opinion, the most important equipments for your setup (assuming you are only going for fishes, no corals) are (according to priority): 1. Sump tank (or any form of reliable filter system) + a powerful and reliable return pump. 2. Protein skimmer (the rule of thumb is... go for the most expensive one you can afford... hehe, according to a lot of reefers, protein skimmer is one of the most important piece of equipment). Forget about hang-on skimmers, for your volume, you definitely need a sump tank to house all the large scale bulky equipments you will be adding later. 3. Test kits (Salifert being the favourite brand but can be quite costly). Once you have 1, 2 and 3. You can start adding Live Rock to your tank for a very long cycling period... so that you have enough time to recover and go another round of shopping for item 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ... If you are to go for a reef tank (with corals)... you will have to get a Chiller too... $$$ Scary right? Haha... also do check out the Pasar Malam section for 2nd hand items... must check regularly (even at office) coz good stuff usually get snatched pretty fast Good luck!!!
  9. Mine showing a pix of ur setup or some basic specs? It's quite hard for us to advice without knowing ur actual setup. But 1 thing for sure is, Phosguard alone cannot do the job, normally u will need a combination of stuff such as active carbon and etc.
  10. Very nice feature!!! But I can't see it Tried both Explorer and Safari (using Mac)... anyone having similar problem? Or is it just me?
  11. Whatever the brand... must take note of the refill price. I bought the Aqua Medic Phosphatfilter for only $120+... quite affordable right? But a pack of media cost almost $50!!! So whatever it is... must be sustainable in the long run... especially if u r running a big tank.
  12. Bro Rickster, urs is quite distracting too... but no complains lah... got something more exciting or not?
  13. I guess I was very lucky... just drop by after work... didn't really plan to buy anything... now I just hope the luck will stay with the fish... I really love the unique leaopard spots on its body... pretty!
  14. Wow bro, the temperature over your side is very good leh! Can drop to 24ºC in day time... amazing! Next time, also tell us the room temperature, ok? The splitting is very fascinating... can start selling the frags already, lol.
  15. Sorry can't take photo as it dived into the sand bed... now out of sight already Crossing my fingers now... hope it will not be out-of-sight for too long... Blue Star Leopard Wrasse Here's a pix from Liveaquaria... sorry Bought it at AM, according to them this fish (shipped from The Maldives) is quite rare... first shipment so far this year... I was lucky... 2 left only coz a bunch of them all "kena" reserved.
  16. Hehe I will not faint lah... my room can't fit a 4ft for sure... even the Perc looks huge for my tiny study room... but bro Golfmac... really good price u r selling!!!
  17. I am interested!!! SKimz Fluidizer Reactor with pump (remove unwanted algae) with ROWA (Original S$150.00, NOW S$80.00) Can show me a close up shot of the Reactor and the pump? 1. Does it work outside the tank? 2. Any leaking? 3. 1 month old? If 1,2 & 3... YES!!! I will take the unit. Reserve for me pls
  18. YEah bro... I always get dizzy looking at your avatar... so r u gonna change?
  19. Guys... ok let's get back to the topic... was at AM just now... surprise surprise... guess what fish I found? Hehe... climatizing now... will post pix later tonight
  20. Yeah talking about asking money from DBS and TOTO some more... haiz... but that AM Riff1000 is really something!!! Imagine opening a cabinet with this thing inside!!! Wow!!! Ok, I've decided already... if I ever gonna upgrade to my next tank... I must be able to afford it. If not, stay with Perc90, lol. It's really damn cool... the more I look at it... the more I want it... desire... passion... lust... DBS... CITIBANK... UOB... POSBANK... CPF... LOANSHARKS... PAWNSHOP... PASAR MALAM...
  21. I think u got a wonderful product there... my next tank perhaps!!! lol Amazing looking... I must say. Don't think there are a lot of bros out there using this kinda setup, so hard to find reviews.
  22. Ok... officially, Zoos is in trend... so everybody... go out and grab your Zoos while you still can, lol.
  23. Oh yeah... get a tank first... u can have a long cycle while having your exams... I've been using Kent Marine for elements... perhaps my MH is too strong... maybe I will move it to a more shaded area in my new tank... pls confirm, does Zoos require strong light? Compared to Shrooms?
