  1. How do u store ur LBS? Normally for how long?
  2. I told ya... is your Leopard Wrasse eating the LBS???
  3. That I'm not too sure... have not heard of it before
  4. Q1: The polyps on the right (new specimen) have longer tentacles because of? Is it a different species? Q2: My old specimen has shorter tentacles coz they have too much light? Q3: If I am to let the polyps spread on my LR, will it affect my SPS planting later? Most probably I will find room and epoxy my SPS over the polyped LR. Will the polyps interfere with the branched SPS?
  5. Known as Turbo Snails You bought the bristle stars?

  7. Update update... don't tell me u buy more LS!!!
  8. Cool! I was looking all over for the 5-in-1 when I first started In the end can't find
  9. Dumped in a bag of Seachem De*Nitrate for temporary measure... while waiting for a proper equipment. Will remove it once my Nitrate level is under control. Will do a test tomorrow to see the effectiveness of the product but usually may take a few days to show result.
  10. Hey thanks!!! I am trying to collect more colours, then create multi-coloured frags (at least 5 colours in a single frag)... then can distribute to my dear bros
  11. You can soak a lot of stuff using Garlic Guard... for example brine, mysis, worms... even pellets. I like to soak my pellets coz they become heavier, so will sink faster, will not end up "eaten" by my overflow comb. Use sparingly... do not use everyday It smells nice actually... I think it can vet my appetite anytime Check out their website for more info.
  12. Surprise!!! My Zoos garden... will try to collect more within the next 2 months...
  13. Firstly... get a new lamp!!! 0.5W/gal is unacceptable!!! I think u can fit the Solite T5 into ur tank. The 4 x 4ft (54W) T5 will bring ur illumination to 2.88W/gal... now we are talking lighting Check carefully whether can fit or not... don't rush coz later cannot fit "jialat". The Solite also comes in 2 separate switches, so can play a bit. Do allocate a bit $$$ for replacment bulbs if u really wanna go all the way... D-D light tubes are good (or ATI if u can find)... check out Reefdepot.com.sg
  14. A very nice Avatar u got there... hehe Oh my Leopard Wrasse is EATING!!! I soaked mysis with Seachem Garlic Guard!!!
  15. Yes, LBS spotted at AM... nothing special... lots of Gobies and Blennies... boring... of course Seachem products are on 30% off!!!
  16. Email me ur pics, tell me where u wanna crop. I will do it for you. jervis.mun@mac.com
  17. Err.... guess what... I just saw her bringing in her baby just now... so not her lah... em... who else r there worth a quickie?
  18. Very hard to judge lighting by looking at photographs... perhaps u can share with us your total watt (combined tubes) divided by total gallon of water. That can be a better estimate.
  19. Yeah I think the Solite fixture will allow ur tank plenty of lights. The only problem is... might not be able to fit the whole lighting into ur cabinet. What's the available space (in terms of depth)? Then bro Qxnviolet can go measure his.
  20. I did... went to AM... just for a quickie... can't stay long (if u know what I mean)... I usually use "increase sharpness", then play around with the "exposure" (a very powerful feature), colour contrast, increase/decrease red/blue and last but not least "edge blur". It's a great software... very easy to use and organize... not like Photoshop, real pain in the axx
  21. Hey bro... looking at the date on ur pix... u already done all these a few days ago!!! I thought u need our guidance... turn out, u already done it... so far so good... have u done anything to ur lighting? It's crucial
  22. Yeah deep pocket with a big hole... What an unusual looking thing?!? Must show-and-tell how it works later
  23. It's not the computer... it's the software (Adobe Photoshop) and the skills... I do this for a living dude You can also try out this programme using ur PC. Same one... except performance and stability cannot compare to MAC lah! So u like the look of ur tank filled with purple coralline? Do you want to see a version of it filled with green hair algae? And all fish dead? I can make that
