Both Salifert and Tropic Marin test kits give very close readings: Calcium: 490 (Salifert) / 495 Magnesium: 1110 (Salifert) / 1125 It's good to have 2 sets of test kits... at least I am more confident now... I bought down my JBJ Digi-Lab to try at Aqua Marin's tank. Their refractometer shows a 0.001 lower than mine. So the actual readings of my water is 1.024 AM!!!

Bro I'm considering only lah... Arctica is really really expensive lor... if I buy the 1/5hp model, I will have to eat porridge or "Maggi" for the next month or so So must check properly before buying... and then my old Teco (3 months old only) will be so hard to get rid... probably keep it as a backup as chillers tend to give problems no matter how good.

For around the same price... I think I wanna try Arctica... what u guys think?
