Need Review on AM Schwefelnitratreduktor SN 400
jervismun replied to Altantis's topic in Product Reviews
Bro Altantis, I already informed A.Mart, hopefully they will come to your rescue pretty soon... but do bear in mind that this setup will involve a lot more equipments... I think it requires a CO2 tank... -
You MIs make me faint So pretty!!! I bought one last 2 weeks... only manage to keep it alive for 5 days... even started feeding on Mysis
-
Hehe bought Solite 3ft fixture... uppz for ur sale
-
For a while... I thought u were referring to the reefer... cute? not shy?
-
And Dottybacks are vicious little creature, aren't they? Hehe... bro, with a Dottyback in your tank... u can focus on adding corals instead Oh yeah... the MI should go... let us NOT attempt another MI They've given me a present that will last me 6 weeks... this is just the 2nd.
-
Hehe typo... bro Shootsimon to do review... coz I might be able to fit those 2 reactors onto the back of my tank
-
Yeah... my Red Gonio... posting it for the 10th time It is extending a bit more today... hopefully it will open fully (quickly) so that I don't have to post every night
-
Moved the Green Gonio to the top of the tank... nice slow current there and they are opening a bit more compared to previous placement... nice
-
Hehe... I thot all BT are like that... that's why they are called "the bluest animal on the planet"... this little guy has been with me since my Nano dayz... and this Spotted Mandarin (feed on pellets and flakes) also been with me since day 1... You notice the closed Zoos? These Zoos are funny... they have their own opening hours... probably they do not require as much light as the rest of the Zoos...
-
My Chevy... some spots can still be found (those near the eyes are reflection to my flash)... probably must my cleaner shrimps... their effortless cleaning... and my Fire Shrimp molted for the first time!!! Note: I dosed Iodine yesterday.
-
My BT... notice all the white spots are gone? But they usually more visible in the morning (especially under actinic blue)... I think both my Tangs will survive Unlike my Elegance... went up lorry already
-
Leather sometimes do retract all its tentacles... then a layer of slimy film (very shiny) on its surface to remove dirt from its surface... it's a normal behaviour... have you noticed such behaviour before? How long have you been keeping these soft corals?
-
Guys... Elegance not doing well, a bit of melting spotted... should I remove the specimen?
-
Nope... just bought a metal ring to secure my pump --> rubber hose connection... minot accident last night... 2 gallons of salt water on parquet floor
-
Just collected a piece of US Zoos from a bro... the polyps are so tiny Got a feeling the colours will be wonderful once they fully open Will post tonight! You see the piece of rock behind it? I am hoping that the polyps will spread over Wishful thinking

Bro Altantis... I think you can fit these 2 reactors inside ur right chamber Do a review on it bro Dkk
-
Yeah lah... he so nice to sis mah... dunno if he will glue for me if I show him a blue look Sis, my Yuma is not opening... based on ur experience, what can be the cause? My old Yuma is opening like crazy (easily 3in in diameter) but the new ones just stay small
-
You know what? I am very happy with my 3ft tank... I think it allows enough room to play with and at the same time more manageable and intimate. Definitely a good size for ur next upgrading... once the tank gets larger than 4ft... u will be looking at a totally different set of professional equipments already That's where the real "burning" gonna hurt most All the best! Hope to see your new set up soon... start a new thread?
-
Was at AM just now... still got a few pieces left... but don't kill it lah! Good that you are also exploring other means of exporting NO3... yes, I heard the Sulphur based reactors are more effective (more potent). Perhaps you wanna PM MelvynTan and ask him about this product as I discussed with him before... do tell him your restrictions or else he will suggest you one of those big reactors Personally, I think the Sulphur is worth leraning more about... coz at least, I can learn from your experience too
-
The only time I see a BB tank looks presentable is when the purple coralline grows all over to cover the base of the tank... do consider Kenkht's suggestion, for me as long as good current is there, the poo will get to the filter somehow... that's part of nature You don't expect mother nature to take away the sand just because she hates to see fish poo, do you?
-
You will be back!!! I keep telling myself... If I ever feel like giving up, I will clean all my equipments, keep all my equipments inside my empty tank, wrap it with a white cloth... coz six months down the road... the hand will itch again How small a Nano u r planning to get? IMO, 12g is too small. With a 24g, you can still go out and look for corals when the urge is too strong

What's China chiller? Most chillers are made of China nowadays... you can try look for Resun, a lot of LFS carry the brand... AM... RB... just to name a few... you are thinking of something cheaper than Resun? I suggest you don't try to "save a few bucks" like that coz chiller is a very important piece of equipment and reliability is essential.

It's quite hard to describe the feeling lor... a couple of days ago, you were so happy and "on" with all the new photography style and even some new LS... I guess life has changed for you and once you are at that stage, hobby becomes secondary... more things in life to look after besides some fishes and corals... But bro, I'm sure you will return... hehe... you will... Maybe the next time can take the opportunity to upgrade to a 5ft tank or something You remember I joked about u giving up after your "big day"... em... life is so predictable isn't it?

Changing tank set up- need advice
jervismun replied to scs88's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
Hi bro Not to encourage you or be contrary of what bro QX said... When I upgraded to my 3ft, I transfered almost everything in a day. The LR and the LS that is. I bought new sand, so I added the sand a week earlier, let the tank ran for a week (without chiller and blah, coz still connected to my Nano). Once the water condition is quite similar to my Nano, I just moved everything over within hours. I took a big risk then... but luckily no casualty
