  1. Last pix of the day... notice the closed polyp? I have no idea why... but after 5 new tiny polyps extended from its sides... the mother polyp sorta closed and disappearing... is this a natural phenomenon? Emm... strange as the rest of the polyps are opening well
  2. bro for your contribution... I am much more confident now... I will go and get it this week... yalor I am getting the same model as you Let me check if they have stock or else Oh I tried Aquapharm liquid magnesium... haha... I get what I paid for lor
  3. Emm... very convincing... this is what I call real product review... must brush up my skills already coz I am so so lacking technically So what's your power consumption in W?
  4. Is that CAVE new? You scaping looks more and more natural
  5. That's why a lot of reefers call me BAD INFLUENCE... they say it behind me... also in front of me (jokingly) Bro if your first Goniopora is doing fine... I guess there's something positive in your current lightset... well you may want to consider 4 tubes in your future plans... 6 tubes maybe a bit too much for 1.5ft depth. But again, let your corals be the judges (not your eyes)... I hope my reply is not too much a BAD INFLUENCE Btw... looking at the state of that Pink Gonio... I don't think my setup can revive it too... so don't get me wrong... ok?
  6. I was previously using the BLV 14000ºK 150W too... I find them a bit on the yellow side. Here's a pix.
  7. Hehe... see you get so many tips in a day... all the best to you bro... but before buying LS, check your water parameters first, ok? Also, you can start a tank thread at the Members section to share your progress with us (and to inspire new comers)... we can be more easily support you over there.
  8. Bro that Pink Gonio is very very sick... so if you cannot revive it... dun blame it to the tank or on yourself... it is really a challenge to revive a specimen in such a state... so relax ok? Remember our MIs? Sometimes... cannot means cannot... not matter what you do... the result is 90% predicted anyway
  9. Thanks bro Subxero... thought nobody interested in this topic... so I quickly posted some nice pix instead... The pH Probe should be same diameter... coz I have not physically played with a Deltec CR before, so can't tell if there's a need for connector or something... the AquaMedic CR requires a special socket Will probably bring my probe down to RD when I get my salary Yalor... I am also thinking of using Mg Pro... thanks bro for confirming that... so what's the right proportion to add? Which bottom, which top? Ok I will consider using the Tropic Marin Bio-Mg as I've read a lot of good reviews about it... although quite costly Are you using the PF501? Or larger model? Do you think 2 hours of running is unrealistic?
  10. Ewwwww Kill it!!! As suggest by a bro before... put it under a car and roll over it a few times!!! That piece of Green Gonio is gonna rock!!! Do post more pix as mine not opening too huge... probably not enough light, shadowed by my giant Hammer
  11. Oh they will... right now they are still 2+ inches apart (fully stretched)... that's why I am very stress now... dunno what to do next... but looking at the situation I might have to sell off my giant colony of Hammer pretty soon But Hammer, Frogspawn, True Octo and Torch can co-exist
  12. As many as you can fit into a single plug I suppose... I checked the manual and there's no indication of the maximum load (in W) for the Power Unit... so I guess we will have to use it sensibly Well if you have say 4 x 400W MH (Total 1000W)... then perhaps a little to much for a single plug to handle... then perhaps you can split it into 2 plugs... synchronizing the on/off together. Since they share the same digital clock, they will on and off in split second accuracy. NOTE: My previous Aqua Medic Light Computer (1st Channel) supports a maximum of 1000W... so I guess we shouldn't exceed that to any power plug.
  13. Bro that's what I've been doing for 3 months now... actually I shed at least 3 to 4 kg leh... so happy
  14. Gonio happy thanks to ATI I also feed them Roti-Feast (twice weekly), sometimes Cyclopeeze and Reefroids. I hope my Red Gonio can be happier
  15. I bought mine from Reef n Nature... they always have nice nice hammer Anchor a bit harder to find especially the really intense green ones
  16. My Florida Rics... the 7-mouths polyp is totally out of shape (left corner entire stretch elongated polyp) The Yellow polyp on top has 2 mouths
  17. I lowered the Powermodul to further close the gap between the tubes and the sand bed... the adjusting mechanism is really easy to use
  18. Hehe... bro Altantis... this is for you
  19. Lovely Saw a nice green Anchor colony at bro Happy's place... Anchor Anchor here I come
  20. I lowered the ATI Powermodul... hehe brighter than ever
  21. Very sad!!! My Sand Sifting Star kissing my Stream 6100 Dunno how it gets up there... normally it stays at the sand bed... unless it was being carried up there... crabs? mantis?
  22. Just came back from dinner lah... don't dare to go town... or else surely drop by RD or AM
