  14. Yes that's what I'm currently doing... a stainless steel kind super powerful fan to create hurricane effect in the room to disperse the heat... mainly targeting the back of the chiller
  15. 16. Hi guys Finally made up my mind... gonna be a custom-built tank... nothing grand just a small tank sufficient to keep me busy during working hours Most probably will go with FOWLR setup and Pygmy Seahorses in refugium... Tank specifications (most probably): Aquarium • 2.5' by 2' by 2' (approx. 70 US Gallons) with sump 26" by 18" by 20" (approx. 25 US Gallons) • 8mm thick glass with black silicone - main tank • 6mm thick glass - sump • Overflow box with pre-filtration / pipework for silent operation Cabinet • Wooden construction with laminate finish - still deciding on colour scheme • Sliding acrylic door - to allow 100% see thru • Ventilation louvres/holes • Built-in lighting - most probably PL or fluorescent tube • Integrated power bars - at least 6 sockets Sump • Glass sump with dividers according to equipment needs • Large refugium with dedicated lighting • Live Aragonite Return Pump • To be confirmed Equipment Options • Tunze Reefpack 500 (backup Skimmer, Mechanical Filter and Top-up System) - 7 US Gallons Freshwater container to be placed outside the cabinet • Needlewheel Skimmer - to be confirmed • 2 FR (activated carbon & phosphate remover) T-off from skimmer outlet - pump to be confirmed Lighting • Still deciding - most probably T5... ATI rocks!!! • Aqua Medic Light Computer What you guys think? This is my first proper setup (with sump) and hopefully the design is simple enough so that I don't have to invest too much on this tank... Appreciate comments from you guys
  17. Haha... those are the old IKEA wine glasses... don't use them anymore But don't you think we reefers enjoy seeing thick-filthy skimmate more than wine?
  18. The elongated "C" shape tip I'm looking for such specimen too... with bright green luminous tip
  19. Here's my Big Mama... destroying half my rockworks and corals by pushing them off the cliff This piece of Bubble was damaged when it hit the sand bed face down
  20. Lovely... the Anchor type... luminous green tip?
  21. Yes too dry!!! Maybe your water level is too low... try increase the water level by 1cm... you can see the difference in an hour or two... is your air inlet being controlled or full force? Limiting air can also cause the skimmate to turn dryer
  22. Bro... if you have a super efficient protein skimmer... denitrator is something that you might end up not having So invest in a Super Deltec... got a feeling the $1300 model is too small for your tank... go for the next model
  23. That's FURTHER FISH (Further being Hybrid in German)
