  11. Emm... I thought all sumps are custom made Actually since my LR takes 2 weeks to cure... there's no point of rushing the project... I want quality

  13. Haha... I know how hard it is to get a clear shot of Anthias
  14. Yes bro Colin, when it comes to scaping... must use BIG pieces of rock... I think so far (within our small group), bro Cherms scaping impressed me most. That's what I call a "proper" scaping and hopefully mine will be something like that too
  15. Wah so pro... got Q Tank some more But make sure the water condition of that small tank is optimum... or else your fishes will be weaken by your Q process. Can show a pix of your Q Tank setup?
  16. Bro I don't PRAY... but I can wish you all the best
  17. Oh yes, don't take their words for it... there's only 1 way to find out... get it from a trusted LFS (to you). If you want to learn more, why don't you drop me a PM so that we can discuss further. When is your new tank be ready btw? Actually you can tell if the rocks are cured or not... go to their holding/curing tank... look at the water clarity, the surface of the rocks, the algae growth & most importantly the smell. If the water smells badly... you know they are still curing Also observe the way they cure the rocks... any filtration system? Any protein skimmer? But of course, you have to pay for the best! Another way is to approach a LFS/tank maker that can offer you this service as a package (together with your tank & equipments). That's the only way to get affordable cured rocks. If you walk into a LFS and ask for cured rocks, be prepared to pay a premium as they are doing all the "shit" on behalf of you
  18. I can't help myself... my hands already moving in circular motion... hey what "dirty" things u thinking right now? I can't help but imagine myself holding my lovely Tunze scrubber and scrub all those dirt away I somehow enjoy cleaning skimmer cup a lot
  19. I know you would jump in... little Hamster
  20. Try to bring Nitrate lower (if possible). Should work towards <1. How about Phosphate? pH fluctuates throughout the day, so it is advisable to take 2 readings in order to determine the range within the day. As suggested by bro Hammy, take once darkness, take another reading at the height of your lighting. That will give you a range, there's no such thing as a definite single value for pH. There's always a range, some 7.8 to 8.3, some successful tanks will show 8.1 to 8.3 KH is a tad on the borderline also, try to bring to 10dkH if possible to offer more buffering to the system. Other than that... everything looks fine... oh not forgetting temperature also, try not to exceed 29ºC if you are keeping corals. Je®vis
  21. Take the opportunity to upgrade to a 2ft cube (at least)
  22. Have not heard of such product... sounds promising Thanks for sharing
  23. There are also 2 versions of Nano Cubes out there. The first version is with thinner glass. After much "cracking" incidents in the US, they came out with the second version with slightly thicker glass (by 2mm I think). Probably you are using one of the older versions. My advice, don't get another Nano Cube. Get a proper setup. (I started the hobby with a 24G Nano Cube too, older version). If you guys wondering if yours is the new or old version. Take my old NC as a guide, got it from the sole distributor. Bought it around March/April 06 (I think) and it is still the old version.
  24. YES you lucky guy... the Anthias is morphing to a male specimen
