  1. My morphing Male BE Anthias... you guys can truly see the colouration in comparison to the female specimen behind it
  2. Nope... the light from my clip-on MH will not be able to cover the entire Chaetomorpha chamber since the light gotto penetrate through a layer of black glass Have added a PL just for the Chaeto and I intend to run the PL 24/7
  3. I saw some at Irwana just now and the aunty suggested them to me... but I am afraid they may grow too tall... missing the MH light coverage
  4. Wow that's an EYE OPENER!!!
  5. Haha... I know... I am still experimenting actually... hopefully the Chaetos will grow normally under such condition
  6. Yeah... you might wanna relook at a new hood... much higher so that it can conceal your MH... making the setup look much neater... since you are to relook at a "safer" way of installing T5 tubes
  7. 3.30pm 6 days 7 hours upon firing-up... I believe the skimmer has fully kicked-in... the skimmate is still constantly filthy-looking although I've been controlling my feeding... yesterday pellets only... today 3 cubes of frozen mysis (water removed)
  8. Are you referring to the Chaetomorpha chamber?
  9. Also added some Red Bubbles Once the macroalgae start to occupy more space... I will have to move my Zoas and SPS back into the main tank
  10. Introduced a significant amount of Chaetomorpha into the sump today... already I can see lesser microbubbles in the main tank... hopefully the Chaeto will grow quickly
  11. Yes both T5 and MH will do great for SPS... really depends on your preference and some issues such as your chiller size, prefered water temperature, environment temperature & etc.
  12. Yes your rocks are pretty purple... well done Are you checking ur Calcium level and are you dosing additives or planning on a CR? Coz my coralline algaes consume Calcium like hungry ghosts
  13. Hey another reefer with a FoxFace... a good choice if you wan a non-choosey algae grazer But mine... tends to prefer pellets nowadays
  14. Emm... let me check if the service apartment comes with free internet access
  15. If you have a very thin layer of sand... I suggest a single Sand Sifting Star will do
  16. Mantis? Err... how about something that you can remove/give away easier such as a Harlequin Tusk
  17. Bro... this is also the best time to get rid of hitchikers (if any)... u considering adding any predator into your holding tub?
  18. Hehe... be prepared to provide them with plenty of Calcium
  19. BLUE EYES Can show us what you use for feeding?
  20. Bro... really getting the hang of the DSLR I can see... Copperband is such a beautiful fish
