Another crab... this is a good crab This piece of Acropora used to be very faded pink when I first bought it... now it is colouring up... will give it some more time to show its true colour
-
Headache... can't distinguish if this is a good crab or a bad crab... decided to remove it... will try to remove it tomorrow
-
More SPS to share Bought this piece from G.O. 2 months back... growing quite well (those lighter colours are new growth) and it's getting bluer Have been in this position for the past 3 weeks... let's see how many months it takes to reach the water surface
-
I'm currently using a Tunze External Overflow box... it is relatively easy to set up... but it can only support around 800L/hr making it not suitable for larger tank... if you are interested in such concept... do check out other brands as the Tunze is quite costly for a piece of plastic
-
From a bro you and me know very well
-
You are so smart... not feeding yet... but busy pecking on my LR and shellbed No sign of stress or white spots this morning... will continue to monitor it everyday for the next 2 weeks Will report once it accepts feeding
-
I am also very disatisfied with my Tunze placement at the moment... especially the one on the left... will relook at my scaping yet again... and hopefully i can find a spot to hide the Tunzes without compromising on the flow pattern and ease of maintenance
-
It's ok you are just bring honest... that's the thing about SPS... gotto give it time to grow... will improve along the way
-
Looking good bro... keep it up... I can still remember how your original tank looks like
-
It will never happen coz I never buy

My tank is a dumping ground at the moment... been transferring a lot of corals over from my main tank Here's Orange-flavoured Dom Dom

Sorta... tank looks cramp

Everything is alright... but the tank is full of algae All 5 ###### Shrimps are still alive and kicking
-
A Montipora Digitata from a fellow reefer... This piece quickly turned to brown within days of introduction... the browing is so rapid it shocked me After one month of TLC... purple is coming back Actually I consider myself lucky to be able to get results like these... considering the fact that my CR has yet to be operational... with 2 long breaks (Xmas and CNY)
-
Another disaster story to share... this piece of Pseudo Superman Monti almost "gone" case... some reefers advised me to remove from my tank... but... Luck is on my side... can't wait to see it totally recovered
-
It's been a rollercoaster ride for the past few months... full of ups and downs... I was too impatient to add SPS at the initial stage... while waiting for my lighting fixture... the result was heartbreaking for sure... here's an example Pix taken 23 January 2007... the base of my Rainbow Monti has turned brown completely... white can be observed in patches too Pix taken 25 February 2007... the base turned back to its original colour... I suspect adequate lighting and zero NO3 caused the recovery

Latest FTS... alright... that Tunze is quite an eyesore Will try to cover it with a Sea Fan or something
-
Here's my new Tang... always wanted to have a PBT... finally gathered enough courage Sorta tempted to get AT actually but I already have a black fish... and Chevron is quite hard to find lately furthermore can't add juvenile specimen due to the aggressive Black Tang Only can add a fish that can withstand my seasoned BT... and a larger PBT is a sensible choice... hopefully the addition of this PBT will help ease some stress off my Kole Tang
-
No choice lah... should've introduced 2 at one go... poor Kole
-
Unfortunately that pix was taken 2 days ago... right now my Kole looks somewhat paler I've counter my Black Tang's aggressiveness by adding another larger Tang into the tank today
