if ur not looking for special patterns ... desmond there always have good sizes for small tanks... although small tangs have low survival rates..

check if there is any agression amongst the gobies ... that might be stressing it out that its not eating ? i had a rainford goby that i thought was doing well untill i noticed my white goby was chasing it .. so the rainford ended up in my sump so that it can live.. .. btw ur tank what size ? able to support 3 sand shifters ?

maybe you can try grinding the pellets into powder ... and use a syringe connected to a long tube... then inject it onto the sand? just a idea .. not sure if it will work ... anyways... signals are quite difficult ... u mentioned signal goby right ? as in single ? heard that they have better success of survival as pairs .. maybe u can also try chopping up some seafood and placing it on the sand .. hope this helps!

some ppl dun have luck with cleaners ... some cleaners cause stress to the fish that they all go into hiding.. besides for a tank your size .. must plan bioload ... why not try the smaller neon goby ? or shrimp ?

how to wean ah ... for me i just feed nothing but pellets for like 2-3 days ... then they start eating .. haha .. but all my fish are classified easy - moderate in liveaquaria.com so i guess they are easier to wean .. but i can nv get my longnose hawk to eat flakes or pellets .. only frozen food or live shrimp for him .. haha

i think the specific diet of species of nudis are still unknown .. many ppl just buy and keep.. some ppl heng heng can survive.. some ppl sway nudi die.. btw... with a tank at your capacity ... a nudi dying might = total wipeout leh .. coz if im not wrong.. nudis like cukes will expel toxins before dying.. careful hor.. another thing is it will smell like -fill in the blank- .. haha.. good luck !

also depends on the LFS u go to .. not that its totally bad or anything.. but for my fave LFS .. they dont have good keeping methods for gobies... usually the survival rate is quite low .. like maybe 1/5.. so maybe u try another source ..

just adding in .. SPS skeletons are said to be pod farms( one reefer told me this) so might be another use for the skeletons... how true is this ? anyone knows ?

are u gonna have corals ? if not u can try blue legged hermit.. very interesting and cute .. only very clumsy and topples corals..

bro .. try to wean your mandarin on pellets.. tho i don't have a mandarin , i have a scooter blenny ( which is similar to a mandarin in feeding habits and movement) and somehow it started eating pellets, which is a big relief if your tank is fairly young ... unless u are insanely rich like jervis, u can try arti-pods. if not the only save bet is to have a system tat is a few years old with alot of rock-work to rear pods. oh and ive heard from a reefer before that SPS skeletons are good for pods cultivation , somehow they like to make thier homes there. how true is it im not sure, mebbe u can be the first to prove tt.

i initially had problems with diatoms on my sand bed, until i added in a sand sifting goby, which did wonders on the sand bed. however , the diatoms shifted up to my LR, so im wondering.. what phos remover is effective yet affordable ? i would love to use rowas, but its way out my budget..

haha ... you can give them to me ... im going fowlr and im thinking of using dead sps skeletons as decor.
