they are scavengers... so u can pretty much leave them alone ... or if u like give it a SMALL piece of seafood once in a while .. but beware of some ... apparently a few arent reef safe ... i had one that munched on my clove polyps ... 1 full rock become totally bare ..

my froggie tank only 5 US gallons.... im upgrading to a 5ft FOWLR rmbr ? its sitting in my living room now... with tons of work to do... and i keep procrastinating... haha ... having a rough patch lately ..

hi bros. im starting this club so that we can gather a bunch like minded fellows to mingle. seeing that there is quite a number of students reefing here, why not gather together .. meet up .. drink some coffee and share or experiences ? sometimes at get discouraged looking at the other reefers threads .. worrying abt the financial burdens of reefing and other stuff. ive learnt from many other student reefers on little things to do so tt our tiny pockets are eased. so why dont we gather and help out other student reefers with similar plights? and also to advise those that just started out in the hobby and get bombarded by the scary amount of cash some reefers put into their tanks ... whos agreeable to this idea ? feel free to leave your name in the list below.. 1) jacobus 2) 3) 4) . . . .

wah ... u are making super worried ... esp ur discussion at AJ's thread... making think whether i should continue with the 5fter. with this 11 times theory and AJ's equip list... im really not sure if my family can handle the added financial burden ..

if water with cyanobloom is clean .... your tank must contain water that immortals drink!! haha ... guess i'll never know ... no corals for me anymore ... a few more sales to go and my tank is decommed. although i can but some zoos into my frogfish tank

chill bros ... i think the feed on algae as the are known to be grazers.... why not try some seaweed ? heard from reerfers here that the yong tau fu kind is good. just make sure what u buy is unsalted and have no preservatives.

oh oh ... i read something about those isopods before... but my memory might serve me wrong ... they feed on the scraps that your fish dont eat .. like for messy eaters.. they pick up the scraps during feeding time .. but thats one kind only .. another ... will tap into the bloodstream of the fish and suck their blood. either way. both kinds are not what u want on your fish . the first kind may not harm your fish ... but grow to become huge unsightly monsters stuck onto the fish. ( i saw a pic of a fish with a breeding pair attached under each eye. like some crazy headphones) oh and the first kind tends to attach to areas like under the eyes, at the gills, forehead, and of course the mouth area. im not sure about the second kind. hope this helps somehow.

haha .. no prob .. im thinking of investing in a nice coloured froggie ... maybe a black one ... but how much is one at like 4cm size ? i saw one orange specimen at henry's before ... it was so expensive ... like $2XX

umm ... who say its 10 cm ?? haha ... max 5cm should be arnd 4cm though.. bought from ah bengs. my tank is nearly 6 US gallons. the tank only a few days old ... but everything was taken from my half decom'ed tank ( still in the process of selling stuff off.) LR sand water all from my tank ( im on the way on starting a 5fter u see ) btw thanks bro ricordia for telling me abt stock at reborn ... was going to go there but decided to go farmway first .. lucky i did... if not i would gone on a really long trip there.. haha
