  7. Hey bro, everything looks so well planned, the interior design, your investment into the marine aquarium etc... EXTREMELY NICE! maybe you want to consider investing in a Digital SLR to take some really nice and sharp pics for us... giak... it is all worth it! Looking forward to seeing more of your tank.
  8. Oooops... i usually just scoop it off the bag, gently put it into my tank. i guess this is something new i am learning from you today... thanks for the tip, keep it coming
  9. I usually feed the day after i introduce the stock, both tangs started to feast on the 2nd-3rd day. i do water change of about 10% every week, planning to do so once every 3 days in this case, not sure if it will help these two tangs. To be honest, i love this two tangs, hate to see them itch to death by white spots, as i speak now, they are actively swimming in the tank with the other fishes, not for the visible white spots i really don't see anything wrong with them. Was wondering if i should reduce the feed quantity for the next few days, my water perimeters are ok if you are wondering
  10. Thanks, what a relief to hear that... i feed my livestocks Dr Bassleer's fish food. BTW, how long (estimate time range, days or weeks?) does the tang usually take to get fully acclimatised? Praying that they really fight the white spots, gets very sian when morning wake up and find a dead body lie on the sandbed, being feasted by my hermit crabs. Does garlic really help? i tried long time back but didn't really work and it is quite smelly! hahaha...
  11. Here are some pics of my infected tangs... Can anyone tell me how bad is it and if they will survive? To be honest, they are eating well and active, no sign of stress like scratching against rocks or crashing the glass...
  12. Hi experience reefers out there, Recently, just on Tues (12 May 2009) i introduced a blue tang and a salphine tang into my tank, they are eating well, no signs of stress, somehow i spotted some white spots on the blue tang yesterday and today the salphine tang also has some. Area where white spots are spotted: Body and a little on the fin area. Started feeding using mysis shrrimp recently on Wed (13 May), Water changed on Sat (16 May). Currently i am keeping: 1.) 1 X Fox Face (longest survival in the tank) 2.) 1 X Damsel (survival) 3.) 1 X Convict Tang (already more than 1 month old) 4.) 1 X Pipe Fish (added on 12 May) 5.) 1 X Bue Tang (added on 12 May) 6.) 1 X Salphine Tang (added on 14 May) 7.) 2 X Sea horses Any advise how to get rid of the white spots on the two tangs or help them survive? To be honest, i have not been successful in keeping tangs, especially my favorite Naso Tang. Quite discouraged everytime i introduce Tangs and they die, only that survive is the Convict Tang. Please help me!
  13. Oh Yes! I am using Coral Chips in both my filters. Cheers!
  14. Here is what i designed and built for my internal overflow system on the left of my tank. I run an additional Eheim Canister filter that connects to my chiller. Hope it helps. Not sure what the other reefers think, if it helps the overall tank while running the external canister.
  15. Thanks for your recommendation. How does Oyama look? If nice, i go find...
