  1. Thanks Jamie.... I have managed to capture a short clip but sadly not the releasing of eggs as the flash from the camera is interrupting the spawn but please enjoy http://youtu.be/BQTk3G4EOrw
  2. I am still waiting for a SA gem tang, the black is really black and the spots are very prominent making the contrast very obvious and beautiful. But at a size of 2-3 inches
  3. I was just going through this thread slowly and saw this question about gem tang. Yes, there is a slight differences between the gem tang from Mauritius (probably E.Africa) compared the SA ones. I have kept both before, a 3inch specimen of the SA (lost her due to velvet) one and Mauritius (sold her away as i am seeking another SA specimen) one and in terms of colourations, the SA one is much blacker and has more define white spots compared to the mauritius ones. There is a thread in RC in which J. Coppolino mentioned that Mauritius Gem and SA gem looking slightly different. Still seeking my SA gem again but most are dinner plate size.
  4. Pic do not do justice to his tank, have to see the real thing to understand the beauty of this tank and how amazing this reefer is. To have the ability to scape, placed and packed different coral species in such a confined space is just so amazing.
  5. Up... Also have the following for sale, if interested in below product to contact 90056726 AquaBee 2000 pump, 7.5/10 @ $50. Tunze wave 6045, 5/10 @$20. Magnet included but suggest to replace it . Bubble magus, size M, 9.9/10. Touch water once@ $30.
  6. Yup, its quite easy to tell for Interruptus just that this dwarf gets huge. ZZZzZZzz cannot the word an al fin keeps getting censored lol.
  7. The beauty of conspics lies in the luminous edge of its fins then again its not a fish that a reefer who prefers colorful angel like those of Regal or Emperor who want to keep. IMO, conspic give a lasting look while emperor and regal gives just a wow factor on initial glance.
  8. Yes, in term of difference between male and female, Interruptus show the most exceptional among centropyge aka dwarf angel. Male develop more pronouced blue throughout the head to the body while female has a more orangey face. Furthermore, male develop more blue on the end of dorsal and anal fins similar to those of flame angel.
  9. Thanks, trying to see if I can get the full process in video.
  10. Mysis are nv gd unless its PE mysis still I think loses out to pellets. Firstly, mysis run the risk of being contaminated and secondly ig you are looking to get fish start feeding, you have gd dry feed like TDO now.
  11. My Japanese angelfish pair doing their things...... Apologies for the poor pic qualities as I have to use flash non stop as all all my lights were off
  12. Try TDO, I have an adult mitratus butterfly with colours totally faded and revert back to its original state after 2 months of feeding on TDO. Even so, I always believe in mixing different kind of feeds together but you do have to visit different LFS for different feeds and they all carry differents brands.
  13. Rather normal, as I have seen many reefers having same issues with ON food. Imagine having a yellow tang that is not yellow and a flame angel just orange and with no tint of red. That is why I did not include this feed into my pellet mixture if you notice.
  14. I never believe in just replying on a single brand of pellet as you do want your fishes to have a widest variety of nutrition as possible as well as not over replying on a single type. I also agree with what bro FUEL have said, "Good pellet food does not come cheap" and so I just take the more expensive products of the shelf and combine them together. Currently, I am feeding my fishes with a combination of Danichii, Fauna Marine's "Ultra Health", 2 sizes of TDO, Dr. Bassler's Forte and Chlorella, NLS and lastly New Era Algae grazer with Fauna Marine's Ultra Health by far being the most expensive. The various dwarf angel pairs or harems I have kept before all spawn on regular basis and I believe largely due to the food I am feeding to them.
  15. Beautiful beautiful mix reef, a task not easy to achieve.
  16. Price reduce to 250 for a pair Am clearing as I would like to make space for new additions
  17. Letting go a small pair of picasso clownfish for $300. Collection @ Potong Pasir and sms me at 9139onefourthreeeight to enquire. Strictly no aeroplane please.
  18. Thanks bro! There are still a few fishes left which i would like to have in this tank.
  19. Mines a yellow banded (Wetmorella nigropinnata ) but till now I still see only 1 of them due to the initial aggression on the 1st day from my elongatus dottyback (caught and removed it).
  20. Yes, Interrupta angelfish are no longer as pricey before, so its gem tang. In fact, many of the more expensive fishes that are not affected by collection issues (such as depth and location) have gone down in price. Great time to get them.
  21. As what bro Anthony has said, it used to be very expensive but prices has gone down. Got mine for about 1.3k each.
