  1. Just bear in mind if you really wanna keep clam, have as amny t5s as possible and place the clam high up
  2. hahah anyway i used to have a lion who feed on flake food instantly
  3. That depends on which soecies you want to keep...... basically there are 2 very common less light demanding clams species(derasa and squamosa) and 2 ratehr common high light deamnding clam species(crocea and maxima)...... I left out gigas as it is not very common here and do not have appealing colour which most reefer go after. Even for derasa and squamosa(low light demanding clam), the least light kind you can keep them under is t5s and usually they does better in MH....... I have seen ppl having success keeping clams under PL by placing them high up but thats not really advisable. For high light demanding clam, The least light kind you can go for is no other than t5s and even so you have to squeeze many t5s in one tank just to keep the clam alive thus it is best recommended to keep them under MH........ Read up somemore, ultra maxima require at least >250watt of MH to thrive properly but nevertheless if you place the clam high up, 150watt should do.....
  4. hey do you know that there are MH hood that has metalstand that allow you to plac them onto the tank... And also do you know there are drill on wall kind of mh
  5. Nah thats just to tell you to continue keeping lps and softies first and till you feel that you are raedy then you can venture into sps... And dun go for t5s, save abit more andgo for MH...... Gheez seem that i am getting abit naggy
  6. IMO go for MH... You will regret if you use t5s to keep sps
  7. Hey you should mention how big is your tank.... You know as no one would one their preciuos tang to be kept in a 2 feet tank
  8. I am not saying that all kinds of acro will surely turn brown, in fact green should retain its colour as for others i dunno What i know is purple would most likely change to brown..... BTW danano hardwork, knowledge and delicate in caring for all his livestock has enable him to keep sps successfully well have you read enough and willing toprvide for sps........ They are in fact much much harder to care for and light is only one small factor for them to thrive
  9. Hey all chiller produce at least abit of sound...... juts that whther it is loud or not
