IMo i notice that thye do better ina reef tank... Not sure why but mine feed on basically everything......... IMo it is very important to purchase feeding specimen

I do know of a few reefers who will DIY lighting for ppl just ask ard

IMO the skimmer is the most importantn thing, maybe you might want to save up more for a bigger or better skimmer

IMO i dunno why they is alays a craze to squeeze many tangs in a small let say 4-5 feet tank......... Yes tangs maybe nice but their territorial behavior surely make them loose out to other reef fishes like gobies and anthias and the other very bad point is that they poo alot and that make them another very bad choice to have in a reef tank which require very little dissolved waste in the water. Not saying that you cannot have tangs, but just not that many.

Hey nitrate is abit on the high side, you might want to change your water......... Anyway fire gobies are very tmid fish and reason for their deatrh might be the more fierce and territorial tangs

IMo you might want to twell us more abt your tank lighitng and system

Yup the problem with this eel is that they always reject food that is goven sometime live food too..... Suggest you read up more on them before buying
