IMo under 6500k they will look abit dull and purple c colonies will nv look nice under them. Just like mine Radium are used to cover the yellow deadly sakis ray and also bring out the color of the acro but they promote little to no growth

Yup but that will eb after sometime. I prefer to let my sps be in the growing frenzy mood first then later i concentrate on their colour

Orange shoulder tang are very big fish( growing toard 1plus to 2 feet) and i recommend you to keep this fish in tank as big as you can provide be it 5 or 6feet. This tang is IMO very hardy but can get aggressive with other tang. BTW price for this tang vary alot, as species that come from indo- pacific or indian ocean can be very cheap while those that are from red sea are very expensive.

try rebor*, sometimes they bring in nice ones... Anyway if you head down nwo to reef wor**, you might be able to get orange zoos

Thats not the coomon sailfin, thats a desjardin sailfin tang.

yah boss is right.... But since you got it already, try wild caught frozen zooplankton, that will give you better chance of getting them to feed. Anyway yours a juvenile and is a pretty nice specimen. I have one and is surviving for ard 2months feeding on zoos, and brine shrimp. They are very nice fish and cherish them pls.

Thanks alot Yup using 6500k alone, able to bear with the yellowish effect given out, in fact I quite like the yellowish green colour. Give me sometime and i might supplement the tank with some blue actinic of maybe blue MH bulb. As ofr calcium uptake, so far so good, able to keep up with buffering. But will intend to get my ca reactor soon.
