  1. hahah i am not work up maybe the smiley i put seem to make me look as though i am angry... I just dislike someone to buy fish which they dunno what it is and then put into their tank.(Let some auntie in a particular lfs who bought 3 red sea golden butt and put them into their reef, god knows what will happen ) aiyah you take a better pic first lah, den talk abt id... Anyway I will still hold onto my stand, it looks liek a female squaminpinnis
  2. I think you will have slight problem cooling down your tank.... Anyway i would suggest anyone not to get resn CL series.. it is super and i mean super noisy
  3. Actually i find haliea chiller rather efficient.... Why no good review abt it
  4. Seriosuly i dun believe but anyway we also have to know what lighting he use and other equipment which he use that may produce heat
  5. Eh i have marine atlas... but the picture is not int eh page your describe, in fact it is in page #121..... Hope your book and mine is the same version.. Anyway it is definatley not a female squrespot and what i think should be a female squaminpinnis... And BTW astroboi.... you should not buy fish when you dunno what species it is and also what requirement and it need. That is a deadly sin of a reefer and one sould not do it.
  6. what livestock do you have in your tank... And any hitchhiker like crab or mantis may find them easy meal
  7. Yup ecidna nebulosa have teeth which are modify to chew through hard shell thus any hardshell inverts in the tank will definately be their meal.... Small fish which are fast moving may be kept with this eel... BTw their are very docile and a good fish to watch. And yes, their moving is rather clumsy thus big specimen may topple coral.
  8. Hmm it cannot be a female squarespot anthias.... It looks to me as though it was a female squaminpinnis.... Pic is way to blur to tell what species of anthias is that
  9. Hmm basically its the feeding problem.. i have 2 sunburst been with me for ard 6-7months and still ok....
  10. Me like anthias nah..... seem like i am contradicting myself...... But anyway i feed my anthias 2-3 times a day. Hmm so far i dun think any or seldom anthias would take flakes and pellet...
  11. It will do ok but bear in mind... anthias need regular feeding and that may result in pollution of your water thus a efficient skimmer and good filtering system is needed
  12. Yes some do but they risk fighting and that is not something which you want in your tank... Imagine your 2 favourie tang fighting... how cruel
  13. Actually you can have most of the anthias but some, in fact quite a few of them have feeding problem thus for a beginner(like me definately) i would go for dispar, tiger or barletts
  14. You should have know tat you are not suppose to mix 2 acanthrus species of tang together....
  15. Let me know abt your tank spec and existing livestock in the tank
  16. Hmm... maybe its because your old naso is too established thus it show sign of its aggressiveness.....
  17. Hmm your lyretail would probably be the most aggressive but its no harm having one of them... My recommended combination would be 3 dispar, 3 tiger and 1 lyretail...
  18. Wah, like that boss can receive prize in every aquarama
  19. Firstly i need to ask how big is your tank.... Personally i feel naso is only splendid at its adult stage as its streamers are gorgeous and i believe you think so too. naso are big and i mean big fish and to have a small school of them be even for juveniles(which will obviously turn adult very quickly), you would need a a tank ard 6-8feet at least/.... FYI, naso are rather peaceful and most probably a naso literatus and a ###### naso literatus would not fight.
  20. Hmm... squarespot anthias firstly can do very well once established, but the starting part is rather tedious as it is very hard to get it to eat as it just love to hide(well most specimen do).... But i think zooplankton will be a very good choice of food to get it to eat. BTW squarespot is a very large anthias and i suggest to keep only 1 specimen in the tank.
  21. Firstly tell us what is your tank spec be it lighting, equipments and water parameter
  22. Wah your tank look so much better now
