Firstly i need to knwo how big is your tank and your filtering system such as skimmer and such......... BTW i would definately leave out the purple as a established YT will never tolerate another presence of zebrasoma in his territory
If you want to say the more hard to find tang or seldom ppl keep tang would be naso bevirostris, acanthrus blochii, acanthurus nigricauda, acanthrus mata, acanthrus gutattus
Hmm in a clam tank with just derasa and squamosa... its definately not going to be nice....... Anyway even for deras or squamos tank, t5s is the least.... BTW hippophus is not that difficult to find just no one wants to bring them in.... same goes for gigas
Hmm tried passer, rock beauty, maculosus and emperor in a mixed reef and nothing happen.... Like they always say... a reef is not complete without an angel But now i am still looking for cortez angel which i doubt will ever arrive
Till now haven seen a group of PQ that eats like pig but i have seen many which looks very undernourished yeah these are beautiful fishes but wwe better leave them to mother nature
yeah they maybe good in this case but thier active behavior just does suit a clam tank..... a fast moving big six line may disturb clam... Maybe its just the way i wish my clam tank to be- peaceful and quiet
Hmm a shallow tank cocncept is good... thats how a clam tank is run.... a shallow tank would enable you to see the top view of the clam easily(nicest part of clam) but i do not recommend a PL, IMo least you could go is t5s and many of them especially if you want ultras.... Anyway six line is not really a good bet, IMO some gobies would be better.
Ah that i am afraid you gonna lose many o that PQ....... din you know that PQ are notoriously hard to feed... they will even reject cyclopeeze or zooplankton(anthias food in the wild ), food that most other anthias will find difficult to resist.. Hope you learn the lesson that onje should only buy PQ if they are eating
yeah.. I quite sure that actinic only comes in blue.....
BTW i notice that you have yellow coris in your tank.... suggest you remove that soon or else you gonna lose all your shrimp..... THEY ARE WRASSE AFTERALL
Seriously FYI........ an anemone is bad conditon will still continue to host clown.... Clown fish are attracted to anemone regardless whther they are in good condition or bad and that is how many anemone die... stress from its host especially big host such as tomato or maroon clown. Anemone demand lots of light.. i suggest you to go at least t5s or MH, or else the anemone is sure to suffer... No anemone would live just by feeding afterall the presence or zooanthelle is not there fro nothing
Not really.... even if you buy a few of them, especially tuka or the more shy kind, all of them will still be hiding and seriously t doesn't make feeding any easier.. trust me
