  2. Need to know how many are interested if i can catch those fishes in my uncle's 5 feet reef tank........ I mean if..... 1)4-5inches vlamingii tang(very slight development of hump)(4months) 2)3-4inches rock beauty (slight dorsal fin extention)(3months in my unlce tank and 1 year in another reef's tank) 3)3-4inches king angel(9 months) 4)3-4 inches marine betta(9 months) 5)4-5 inches harlequin tusk( 4months) 6)2-3 inches naso tang(6months) 7)3-4 inches purple tang(intense purple and dark yellow finnage)(9months) All of them are eating pellet, mysis shrimp and brine shrimp(except marine betta which only eat mysis and brine shrimp) Might be wanting to sell all of them as i wanted to change it into a mix anthias tank with different species schooling.... Plus maybe a achilles or sohal tang as centre piece........... I need to see the level of interest of the reefers here to determine whether i should catch the fish... as you know catching fish in a 150 gallon reef with 80kg of live rocks and coral is not easy............. BTW not intend to sell my 2 doctor fish (one red sea and one nornal cleaner wrasse) due to the fact that it is not easy to get cleaner wrasse to survive for more than 8 months................ If interested pls pm me btw i need to consider thelevel of interest first
  3. yah luckily i manage to get my king angel............. Anyway royal gramma and dottybacks are mostly cave deweller thus if you want to keep more than one, make sure your tank is big and with lots of hidding place
  4. mm angel also don't feed on coral just that they nip on them thus causing them to die................. So i think it applies to your fox face too
  5. IMO they are quite healthy although never see them eating
  6. Wow nice deal..... how is the lighting effect or colouration produce by the 50k bulb
  7. nah king angel price are like this therefore i think that it is worth it
  8. Heard that fox face are reef safe.... you sure they attack your brain coral
  9. Yes will suffice clam if you place them high....... Imo sps will turn brown under those lighting
  10. Since At alvy foamer already produce sluge like skimmate, wonder what those giant skimmer's skimmate is like
  11. Wow nice combination of tang... I just love it when tang school
  12. Nice variety of clam............
  13. What clam are you intend to keep????? BTW it is best if clam are kept under metal halide maxima and crocea, they come in different pattern and are very beautiful in colour but they require strong lighting such as metal halide.... BTW ultras need even stronger lighting such as metal halide with 250w and above derasa and squamosa- these clam require lesser light and saw people keep them under 55 watt of Pl light.... A chiller is not really needed unless due to the metal halide you use, your water temp get way out of hand >28 degree celcius
  14. You mean powder blue tang, since you are just starting in this hobby suggest that you should not keep pwder blue tang becasue they are not hardy in fact rather delicate and get ich infection easily........... Well for blue tang, they do grow big so 3 feet IMO is a no no.......... So that should narrow you down to yellow tang, Imo it is ok if they are small and btw yellow tang can be aggressive so keep one per tank
  15. As you know flame angel is still a kind of dwarf angel and some dwarf angel are known to nip on lps or coral polyp............. As i always say, different angel has different character just depend on whether you dare to take the risk........ Some people experience havoc created by their flame angel when they add it to their tank but others had flame angel with totally no problem..... BTW tang are big fish and rather fast swimmer, love to lap around the tank, so a big tank is needed to give them ample room...... A blue tang can grow up to 25 cm therefore need at least a 4 feet tank IMO, while a yellow tang remain smaller so maybe a smaller atnk can be used to keep them.............. BTW some atng are territorial and aggressive so read up more on tang compatibilty
