  1. IMo small tank are hard to start for a newbie....... But if you insuist on going on ask danano, he is a nano reef expert
  2. Clam above 4 inches do not need to be fed..... All they need is just high and strong lighting such as MH and high calcium level for their shell.......... Healthy clam should react to shadow almost immediately but shrinking their mantle slightly................ And they should not have damage base or broken mantle
  3. Btw whats your water parameter like
  4. Chiller is not a need unless you intend to have a reef tank and using very strong lighting such as metal halide which produce tons of heat........ A FOWLR tank will do fine with hjust FL light and without chiller..... BTW alternative source to cool your water such as AC or DC fan can be used........ But using them means regular top up of water due to high evaporation rate
  5. Both bubble tip............ rose is alot more beautiful and red in colour
  6. having nuisance algae in cycling period is ok .... In marine, they are just part and puzzle
  7. Use phros guard or Rowaphos ... Effective when getting rid of nuisance algae.... BTW your nitrite seem abit high... IMo it should be kept at 0
  8. IMo your plate look alright...... they are known to swell up so it should be ok...well any gurus would like to clarify
  9. No sub gravel or undergravel filter is definately a no no choice for marine..........
  10. I have tried both kind of Fl light before............. IMo zoomed is much better and of course more expensive.......... And btw you should not be using Fl light to keep coral, even some low light demanding coral will not thrive under FL, suggest you go for t5s or, Pl or Mh
  11. IMo mushroom are rather hardy........ They require little light and sometime survive in atrocious water condition(not all mushrrom are the same so pls read up) BTW other softies such as toadstool leather are rather hardy too .............. Actually your description and question is ratehr vague, IMo tell us what lighting you have, water parameter like what kind of coral you intend to really keep.........
  12. MMM how much are the ricordia sold at..... If the price is like floridea, i think will not be gone so fast
  13. Pls check the price of the rock beauty, it is not cheap but this angel is very nice and healthy
  14. Price are as follow............... 1)4-5inches vlamingii tang(very slight development of hump)(4months)- $20 2)3-4inches rock beauty (slight dorsal fin extention)(3months in my unlce tank and 1 year in another reef's tank)- $80 3)3-4inches king angel(9 months)-$180 4)3-4 inches marine betta(9 months)-$30 5)4-5 inches harlequin tusk( 4months)-$55 6)2-3 inches naso tang(6months)-$15 7)3-4 inches purple tang(intense purple and dark yellow finnage)(9months)-$45 Pls note that some fish here are rather rare thus explained for the price....... BTW rock beauty is rather rare and rather delicate to keep in a tank and dun survive long, thus with healthy specimen, it is hard to come by.............. for those who have express their interest but there are still some fishes that is not interested by other people so i must make sure that most fish are taken before decide to catch............ BTW i have overwhelming respond for the tangs and a few for the rock beauty and harlequin tusk..... So must make sure that rest of the fish are also interested by somebody........... BTW my angel have all been in the reef tank for quite some time and they leave all corals alone except elegance(so those with elegance coral pls note)
  15. Pls pls get this correct, not just lohan have hump or extended dorsal fin... adult vlamingii have very significant potruding nose like hump............. Btw many adult angel are known to have extended dorsal fin so pls dun say like i am selling luohan like taht

  18. Ah dex is a rich kid, cannot blame
  19. They are sting left by bristle worm... There is nothing much you can do about it, just make sure that you slowly remove them one by one.... I remove them by using tape to stick them out
  20. Yes it can be used but why waste your money for a FOWLR
  21. Eh btw those who are interested, but i need to make sure that most or all of the fish are interested by at least someone so if there is not much people interested, sorry i will not catich the fish cos catching them in a 5 footer is tough unless i use trap(but never work on any of the fishes so far)............. And also pls note that the fish are in my uncle tank so it may take sometiem before i am ready to sell the fish cause i do not go my uncle hosue everyday
