  7. IMO without proper lighting, don't go for a reef tank
  8. IMO if your yellow tang has been in the tank for some time, it is better not to add the 2 tangs above..... The 2 tangs you mention have the same shape as the yellow tang thus there is a very high chance that your yellow tang will attack them... Suggest other tangs such as naso tang to be added........
  9. Hey any new clam pic..... my auntie is coming back tomorrow and thats means my uncle cannon powershot 400 is back too ...... yeah can post some pic of the 3 clam my uncle bought
  10. water parameter in my uncle tank is ammonia-0 nitrite-0 nitrate-15 calcium-400mg/l ph-8.4 Seachem calcium buffer and reef builder is added 2 twice a week........... Feed his coral with kent phytoplex and now changing to DT live plankton
  11. I have a jewel for more than 8 months, it survive happily in my uncle's 150gallon reef............. Read from some where jewel are very delicate coral that do not survive for more than 6 months in a reefer's tank thsu not suitable for a newbie.............. Anyway also read up that jewel do well in under skim tank thus explain why they do not survive very well in advanced reefer's tank which have powerful skimmer............ Anyway in my uncle's tank, i keep the jewel iunder 2X150watt of MH and notice that jewel open very well under slight current
  12. yes 2 feet is not a good start for marine and definately not with a top filter..... top filter are utterly useless for marine, suggest you going for hang on back filter such as eheim liberty 200................ And pls note that anemone require lots of light and is not a good start for newbie because they waste away easily, require regular feeding and often move about thus make them very easy target for power head  ......... And when an anemone die, you would not want to know........ cos if you do experience that, you will feel like quiting this hobby immediately............ BTW pls note that, clown fish do not require anemone to survive
  13. Your anemone will waste away soon.......... suggest you upgrade your lighting now
