I am not spider but might be able to answer your question.... IMO crocea are much cheaper compared maxima. But even so some rare crocea are rather expensive too

Hey squamosa and derasa are less light demanding clam but even so they require light at least t5s...Suggest you read more on clams. Anyway with those kind of lighting, suggest you place the clam high up on the rocks

hey flubberina, those tang you add are of different species and shape thus they will not really fight unlike baby cat whose yellow and purple are of the same shape and belong to the same tang group known as zebrasoma......... And also the blue, tang and vlamingi tangs and chocolate you have are rather peaceful tangs therefore most likely you would not have much problem.......

Yes i have friend who have kept his clam alive under PL light but it is definately not advisable as clam are rather notorious being very light demanding

If you going for clam, try MH but one word of warning when using MH the temp will shoot sky high(well maybe not really) but if it does, you might want to gte a chiller of fan to cool the water temp down
