  1. Agree with bro amby, blues are normal colouration for carpets though some may be dyed. Reborn used to bring in lots of blues, purples and lime greens.
  2. Sry for no being able to let you know the price. From what I know, reds are much more rae compared to the blues, purple, greens and lime greens. For red, I do agree that its very difficult to get smaller specimens
  3. The first thing when I got this carpet was to inspect the mouth and foot. It was tightly close and foot was not damage so I think its should be quite an healthy speciment. The only worry I have its that it was much less sticky compared to the greens and purple I have, hopefully thats normal for reds. Is that red carpet yours? Its really a beautiful specimen.
  4. Carpets love strong flow and high lighting and with 2X tunze 6060 in a 3 feet tank, I think flow should be sufficient. 2 X250watt MH should be sufficient enough hopefully *touch wood*. The red carpet has already have its whole foot stick to the bottom of my tank and my rocks so I think it would be ok there
  5. bro yongshun: thanks, I will definately post update of the ed carpet bro nuclear: Yep, am the guy that run around taking photos. I want a big piece so that the right side of my tank where the clowns live is covered with the anemone. A centre piece indeed
  6. Carpets are definately not easy to keep but haddoni species are definately much hardier than their cousin gigantea. Hopefully. this one thrive in my tank *touch wood* My clowns are enjoying their upsize bed right now
  7. No la, this guy was the only piece. Heard that it wasn't even in the stock list Anyway there were still many other deepwater sps gem
  8. Yep a red haddoni Been looking for it high and low, told many lfs to get for me and this guy arrive unexpectedly in today's Iwarna shipment Many thanks for Victor who remember my wishlist and reserve this guy for me till I arrive at the Iwarna. Kudos to you
  9. Did some minor rescaping on the right to make space for this guy
  10. Thats a beautiful tank! Sorry for not being specific, its 90cm by 50cm by 60cm
  11. LOL... after today quite broke liao.. Will update the new stuffs I added
  12. Occellaris are not that aggressive Should have a better chance compared to mine Think my female chrysopterus would give the pair of blackfoot hell
  13. Thanks bro! Yea, not sure what corals I can add there, most likely leave it alone The pink, if I frag, I will pm you
  14. Hahah... looks like it has just a got a beating from her husband Thanks... the are much more fantastic zoos out there, mine are just leftovers
  15. Recovering, used to be much worst... At least its not brooks *touch wood* Yea from sealife... Chrysopterus and black foot are some of the most diffcult clowns to keep, as most come in DOA or infested with brooks... Quite a sight when I saw such healthy blackfoot so I got a pair.
  16. My female chrysopterus is currently recovering from his pop eye.... Oh ya I forget to add a that I have a pair of blackfoot maldive clown in my sump
  17. Thanks, most of the zoos come from KIM SOTONG ... currently tank still not running with CR... If more sps is introduced, will need CR soon
  18. Tank spec - Tank Size: 90(L) X 50 (W) X 60(H) [Drawn out by Gouldian and me, build by Kwong Lim Frame maker] Lighting: MH 2x 250w BLV 14000k [ Abit too yellow for my liking] T5s 2X 39w Aquaz Blue Skimmer: Tunze Doc skimmer Wavemaker: 2X Tunze 6060 In order to keep everything neat and simple, I opt for Bare bottom, for ease of siphoning and cleaning and using dead rocks instead of live for my tank. The advantage of using dead rocks would be lowering the chance of having pest such as crabs and mantis shrimps. This allows me to keep smaller fishes like dartfish, shrimp gobies and pygmy angels. Livestock Fishes- 1)Trio of Argi angels ( Bought 6 of them but ended up with 3, happily ever after since then ) 2) A pair of steinz shrimp gobies( The steinz gobies I have are of different variants, they have yellowish orange flame like tail fin which most steinz gobies do not have. In fact, they resemble aurora goby more.) 3)A pair of Chrysopterus clown( It was the first time, I saw so many pair of healthy chrysopterus clown in CF. Could not resist, and got myself a pair. For those that do not know, WC Chrysopterus clown are one of the most difficult fishes to keep due to the fact that they always come down with brooks) 4)Trio of purple flame gobies( Bought a pair but a nice friend gave me another pair. A weaker one was knock out and it stay 3 ever since )
  19. Sealife has healthy and beautiful black foot clown aka amphiprion nigripes. Really a sight to see a huge shipment of these delicate clownfish. They are so bad shipper that most of them come in either DOA or gasping badly for air. In addition, yellow belly regal of rather good sizes (3-4inches) can be found there, some already feeding on pellets Hawaii shipment and red sea shipment fishes can be found in Sealife. Usual suspect, beautiful intense purple tang of many sizes, sohals, asfur, beautiful flames angel, yellow tangs and kole tangs. Lots of huge cleaner and blood shrimps. Other assorted fishes like solar wrasse, royal gramma can be also found there. Go down for a look
  20. Reborn has some unique shrimp gobies, geomatric pixy hawk and many other fishes.
