I was looking for this as well. Don't think we are able to obtain them and there are quite a few threads in RC regarding this fish. If we can find them(don;t think we ever will), it will be like pyramid butterfly price multiply by few hundreds or even more

Surprisingly, this shipment of nigripes are rather good. Yes, this shipments has full of yellowish orange nigripes. Price is slightly more ex at about 2.5red notes. Size is about 2-3inches. If you can spot, there are some very bright yellowish orange while some are just orange.

The one that looks similar to aurora is a yanoi. Can be found in the philippines and most of the time Ah Beng has them. The differences lies in the tail

RB have ask their supplier regarding this fish and they said that most ppl there(mauritius) do not possess the right technology or eqipments to collect this fish as they are found in really deep water. However, if thats the case, I believe its a matter of time before debelius becomes more available. Then again, its price will still be exhorbitant! Still thinks dracula is much nicer! Pearl white body with red and black bars. Now I know why is it call dracula, not because of its grumpy look but when this fish feels threaten, it will gape and 2 fang like thingy(much like a viper) will be seen

Mitratus all sold liao. IMO mitratus is the most beautiful deep water butterfly. The yellow body and black stripes are so contrasting. This used to be my pair till they died of ich.

Yeah, so the rest are not rare. Just that they come time to time. I define rare as debelius, resplendent and hotumantua.

Reason: ML did not get direct. Like I say CF is the only lfs that has the direct "sole- right" for this fish. The rest are all so call de- tour.

Update from RB: 1)marcellae butterfly- still got about 5 of them 2)mitratus butterfly- a beautiful pair 3)Darcula goby- left 3 and 2 strangely has solely red stripes 4)carberryi anthias- still got plenty, all in good condition 5)chaoti wrasse- its the first time I see such beautiful coloration, size is rather big 6)nigripis clown- its the first time I see the orange variant of the black foot clown 7)black occellaris- many to choose from 8)True perculas- quite a few misbar Rest of the fish are still available and many good stuffs left

It depends on what terryz define as rare. If its hotumantua, interruptus, resplendent or debelius then of course its almost impossible to find. Ifs its coco angel, of course its CF because they got the "sole rights" to sell this fish in Singapore. But LCK did bring them in before. If its uncommon fishes like deepwater coral beauty, flame or hybrid lemon peel then Iwarna and ML usd to bring them. If its difficult to keep fishes like golden, venustus, multi bar or colini then SL brings them in time to time as well but they are not rare as well. I am not really sure what other centropyge are cosider rare.

When I am around, I can feed up to 6-7 times a day. During the weekdays is usually about 1-2 meals a day. In the wild, Centropyges graze around non -stop 24/7 and their metalbolism can be rather high thus its vital to feed them multiple time a day and thats what I do. Anyway once a fish is emiciated, suken head flesh, its very hard to bring it back to past glory and most likely will waste away sooner or later.

Actually, I always believe in what the ex fish fanatics/expert in SRC(bro Roidan and bro weileong) says, just get the fish feeding. They even flood their tank to get fishes feeding but I know many reefers will disagree with this move especially when they are doing it in their SPS or low nutrient tank(BTW bro weileong has one of the most colourful SPS tank ard despite all the flooding). All they do is to feed their new fishes fat to build up the immune system to past through the acclimitizing phrase and naturally the fish will be rather indestructible after that.
