This is norm for this salt mix. Some tend to stay chalky for several hours. There are several mix like Tropic Marin Pro, Marine Environment, H2Ocean Pro which clear up much faster. I can't say which is the best but the above mentioned salts are several of the better salt around.

Yup. Superglue had been used widely by SPS keepers to glue their frag. But this is very costly compare to using epoxy. Loctite brand of superglue is the best so far but most costly as well. Whenever possible, use epoxy as there are better in holding bigger rock/frag.

The occasional rattling noise don't seem normal. Give RD a call and see if they can help. Mine doesn't have this rattling noise. But your skimming is definitely more "chio" than mine.

This is considered fully open. It is strange to have noise then. Likely trapped air in the pump. Try to turn pump on and off 2 or 3 times to dispense it. If noise still persist, call RD. P.S. Alwso noise level is very subjective, so it could be the efficient of the suction.
