Don't think all scientific name started with L. Might be a wrong spelling where you got your info from. Just for reference, there are many families for the wrasses. Mainly seen here are: - Anampses - Halichoeres - Cirrhilabrus (Fairy wrasses) - Coris (Yellow, Green, red wrasse) - Pseudocheilinus (Six line, Mystery) - Macropharyngodon (Leopard wrasse). The picture above which Lemon looking for belong this family.

In case you need to check the wrasse using scientific name. Remove the "L" in front. Should be Anampses Neoguinaicus. Bro Orsony too excited liao..

So far so good, the evansi been 3 months liao. I bought them with a mindset that they will be gone in 1 or 2 weeks time. As I had this experience before when a LFS used to bring them in a year or 2 ago. Keeping my fingers crossed. At least they are feeding any frozen food I throw in. Hard to get them feed on pellet thou.

Mine were swimming in the open with the 4 evansi i got the very next morning I release them from betta box. The female is the more daring one and feeding a little more than the male. At least for now, they are not "hassled" by the older residence.

Bro, You are right. Disappearing wrasse belong to the same Pseudocheilinus family as 6 line. In general, wrasse from this family tend to be agressive once they "settled-in". I had seen my old mystery "murdering" other fishes in my tank before although they seem to be the "kinder" species in this family.

U can try to get a tabling acro. It can become food for it.. LOL

Nice fish! Be careful to stock your tank slowly else ur SPS will not like it.. Btw, you still have the yellow goby. Suggest you remove it coz it can be SPS unfriendly.

I do agreed with comycus that 6 lines is probably the main suspect. It can be an inch smaller but still a big terror once it is a "old" resident. Chances is that the mystery had suffered quite a major injury all round by the attack and the tunze suction. Can only hope for the best.

8 footer? care to share the size u planning? Pardon me for asking. U staying in HDB or condo? Coz if you building a 8 footer with 2ft width and height. You will gonna be way over the limit on the floor loading. Coz I had a friend who had a not so nice experience before on a "oversize" tank. Not trying to be kaypoh.

Hi, if you are planning SPS going forward. You may want to scape it in a way that you can remove some of the rocks easily. I setup my current tank for LPS initially with lots of rocks. Then i caught the SPS flu-bug and now had problem trying to remove rocks without "killing" the whole environment.

Probably so. Tenuis can do with medium flow. Try moving it to another location.
