Actually, this is quite common in SPS. Same species can have different color variation due to the water parameters, type of lighting, etc of each individual tank setup. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. so that is no who has the nicest or not.

If you have identified as it is then is good. "Top pc - blue, green and red" The color given by you does not really match out. Superman are usually blue/purple based with red polyps. Not too sure i seen green on it before. but it can be growth which are green??? "Bottom pc - red and green" This could be right is you never mentioned the based color then. as polyps are in a combination of red/orange and green. But the base is generally blue/purple. Your photo seem to be showing red base.

Can't really see from the pic very clearly. But based on your color listed. The bottom piece if red base and green polyps should be sunset monti. Top piece might be a rainbow monti but the colors you gave do not match it 100%. I might be wrong. Will leave it to the expert to comment further

For this case, TS had already PM us for clarification prior to posting. The restriction is for frag sales and the understanding is he is only clearing colonies. We understand that it is a grey ares between what is a deem as colony or big frag. As such we do review each application like this on case to case basis and will remove if it deem as frag and not colony. agree with kkk121. the evenly spread out of the polyps make it more like Cyphastrea. Generally monti do not have so evenly growth polyps.

Basically, all these product uses an active ingredient called praziquantel which the word prazi came from. You can also get the tablet form in pet shop. They are used for pets like cat and dog too. To be safe, just use the one for aquarium unless you don't mind do your own test using those tablet. Personally, i have tried using frozen food soak in prazi to feed my fishes. Only thing is there is a smell of sort when using such soaking method and fishes will resist the food. U can try and add garlic with it. I had some success with this method.

I would say your observation is correct. I have a 2ft cube in my yard. And the sps on the side facing the sun had been growth polyp extension. IMO, MH is still the best lighting for SPS and to some extend LPS, etc. I run 2 separate tanks at home w MH and LED. The MH one had better growth rate and less browning of the SPS undergrowth(the area facing the bottom). But i'm not saying LED is no good hor. This are purely personal view. The problem w MH is lack of spectrum like LED can do. And the heat factor. LED run much cooler and probably cost saving depending on the wattage of LED u r running. I did tried reflecting light before. it is not worth the effect as the rays reflected are not as strong as direct. Also, you need to be careful when doing a reflector for sun ray to prevent magnifying glass effect of the sun ray as it can cause unrecoverable burning. All the best in your venturing.

Maybe if u can get the cabinet maker to have a separate box up for your compressor so there is limited salt water evaporation getting to the bracket and compressor. It will save your compressor as well in this manner.
