hi people, some good news to share. managed to propagate my florida from ML successfully. it looks the same as the one that woon ming posted on the the first page. purplish blue with maroon centre. i've got 3 now!! heh...what a buy...will try to " create" more if possible so that i can sell it away to ricordea xiaos at a discounted price. but dun pm me yet coz i wanna let them recover fully first...

remove the anemone immediately..it will stink up your whole tank. could it be because your tank's not properly cycled that it died??? they need alot of light as well...i think it is abit too early to stock up your tank with so many things...increase our life stock slowly coz your tank is still in the maturing process. might not be able to handle to load if u add in so many things suddenly... I think xenias are not really corals that u should begin with. especially those pumping xenias. need to get the parameters right and ph above 8.3 .... take a step at a time and do a water change immediately if the anemone has really died and decayed

Hi people, Decided to clear more space in my tank for more sps in future... i'm sorry though that i can't provide any pictures coz i've got no DC.... hope my description is enuff. Here it goes.... 1) a small piece of LR with small colony of green star polyps. LR is abt 300-500g. - selling at $5 2) crocea clam. it has been with me for 2 years. it is green when viewed from the top and purple when viewed from the front of tank...size slightly smaller than a fist. - selling at $20 3) yellow tip torch coral. fragged from a large piece which i bought a 6 months ago. it has about 5 branchs (if i remember correctly) - selling at $15 4)hammer coral (green tip). It has 3 branches. It is not those thick branches kind but the thin branches. - selling at $15 5) small piece of red buttons with green centre. there're also 3 blood red mushrooms attached onto the rock together with the buttons. - selling at $10 Collection is at outram mrt...or at least somewhere around there. pm me if u're interested!!! Thanks and looking forward to good response. p/s: I've got a frag of purplish blue with maroon centre ricordea florida which i got from ML the other time. managed to propagate one successfully already. will try to propagate more and sell it cheap to the ricordea xiaos once i've got more...

by the way, vkool is some black film which u paste on the upper side of windscreens "sun screen" for cars..prevents the inside from getting too hot!!!

don't worry abt it man..your tank will look just fine in time to come as u progress and learn more abt reefing... i guess most of us started with humble 2 feet tanks too....keep it up!!!

give us a break man spider...go replicate a tank like the one in RC's TOTM if u think it's no big deal... i mean this forum is for discussion and for us to learn, but what i see from is alot of sarcasm from u which really isn't gonna be helpful at all.... even if your tank's really that good, dun see a need for u to brag abt it. i would suppose most people would agree that the mucho tank is indeed nice and so, why should u put it down??? jealous???

oh, that's so sad...no more sps for a while? was thinking of getting a monti cap when the next shipment arrives coz i'm too broke to buy anything for this recent shipment. then will they be bringing in other stuffs like softies, mushies, lps etc instead?

i tried siphoning them out at one period..did help abit though...gotta keep doing until u dun see any of them left..but the only real break through came only after i created my current around the zoos..and it started to open up as nice as ever again

hi, thanks for all help! inject it??? do u just use the syringe and just release the kalk paste over the anemone's mouth like u're doing a direct feeding to corals or do u need a needle and poke it into the mouth and then inject the kalk paste?

how much are the red pratas at t9*???

ever thought of that too...saves electricity bills and more power for sps... heh. just have to figue out how to arrange the mirrors to direct the sunlight in

Hi, Found 2 anemone manjano in my tank today..any idea how to kill them off completely??? afraid it would move and sting my acropora... Tried cutting the head off but it grew back a new one!!!... my green star polyps also spreading like wild fire. anyway to stop that??? Thanks for all help...will appreciate them

check for nudi branches too...very small ones...had the same problem before and i noticed my zoos getting skinnier by the day.. some feed on zoos..especially green ones....erm, doubt it's the lighting or current...my zoos open up more with abit of stronger current...

Hi People, I've got a complete set of PL lights for sale...Got it for $100++ from aqu*Ma**. I've had it with me for about 1 and a half years. Comes with 2 X 55w tubes. One of the tube has blown already though. only the 20000k tube is still working. It does not come with the light holder(legs) as I broke it last time. So gotta let it rest on the tank if u're using it. Selling at $60. Interested parties plz pm me. Sorry, dun have a dc, so can't provide any pics of it.
