  1. The zoanthid colony seems to be getting more vibrant. Spot a mini clam that came with it at the bottom left of the colony
  2. Still looking for a blue clam. Either a crocea or maxima. Been a while since I saw one. Let me know if any bros have any for sale ok
  3. Got a small white clove colony to sit next to the derasa and a new green bubble
  4. Did a shift of the gorgonian and minor rescape of some sps
  5. Good promo at golden octopus and got 3 LPS at really attractive prices. Red cynarina, green trumpet and alveopora
  6. 1 week old new citizen in yellow. Thankfully it survived the first day of ravaging from the powder blue tang and everything was ok since then. So far fishes from ah beng seems good!
  7. Current parameters as of today: Sg: 1.025 Calcium: 440 dKH: 9.6 Mg: 1410 PO4: 0 NO3: 2.5
  8. Looks very good! And blends in well with your home too! Will be following your thread for more updates. Excited for you bro
  9. hey bro, I suspect it is an A. Echinata actually. Haha. But oh we'll. doesn't really matter as long as they are healthy and growing
  10. thanks bro for the lead. I'll see if I can also do an ID with some googling help based on your inputs
  11. Oh... Totally forgot abt the derasa. Been a while since I've seen one
  12. Droopy cauli. Wonder if the big piece is also breaking away as i understand that could be its normal reproductive method. I noticed a small branch also came out previously and got stuck under a rock work. Or maybe it is lacking some nutrients as it seems a little thinner lately as well
  13. Finally bought the test kits for nitrate and phosphate for a test as well. Pretty satisfied with current levels. Now the parameters are fairly stable, think I can make do with fortnightly testing before progressing to monthly tests: Sg: 1.0245 Calcium: 425 dKH: 9.6 Mg: 1380 PO4: 0 NO3: seems like 0 to me. Didn't get a chance to do the low range test as I threw the test water away before I read about it
  14. Not much changes to the other corals and fishes so far
  15. Sad to see the orange monti tip burnt after falling directly into the torch coral below. Should be on its way to recovery looking at the tissue covering over the dead parts slowly
  16. Love monti caps. Another one from pinnacle last week. Yellowish green polyps with a uglylooking greenish brown body.haha. But oh well. Love the shape though
  17. Anyone who can ID this? Bought a month back and colours and PE are holding up well but seems much slower growth
  18. Really fast growth by the green monti cap with some other recent frags
  19. And the purple polyp brown base monti digi. Sorry about the real lousy pictures. Looks black to me actually
  20. Another view from the other side of the tank
  21. Not much changes to my tank except a few new purchases... Including 2 nice monti digi frags from Joe and a derasa. Thanks Joe for the tip. Will be running by to your place more often next time for those stable stuff! The new green digi. Nothing too fanciful but love digis due to their fast growing attributes and enhancing the scape of the tank eventually
  22. RIP!! Tried to frag off the affected part without success
  23. thanks Jeff. Glad you like it... I'm really enjoying my new place, and of course, the fish tank. Hehe
  24. Current husbandry: 1) Change 5% water every 2 weeks. Too lazy to mix on salt water. Buy pre-mixed water from aquamarin now. Believe they use Fritz salt and RO/DI water 2) Clean skimmer cup every 4-5 days 3) Daily dose of 60ml C balance A and 60 ml C balance B and 120ml of Mg solution (mixed myself with the MgCl salt from Iwarna). I'm dosing at intervals of 1 hour using the bubble magus dosing pump 4) Weekly testing of parameters like Mg, Ca, dKH and SG for now 5) Bi weekly topping up of fresh water reservoir with distilled water from NTUC 6) Clean glass tank and observe all corals and fishes everyday. Think that's the best test. 7) Most painful part of my maintenance is to climb up the ladder to put back toppled corals as I try as far as possible not to epoxy them. Almost every other day, something sure topple . Haha. Tiring!
