  1. Posting here as well in addition to my tank thread. Another trial and possible nightmare... Could they be caused by monti eating nudis? 3 of my orange cap at totally 3 locations at my tank got stressed overnight and was covered in mucus this morning and showed a loss in colour. Any experts can advice? This is the picture of one of it just a few days ago.
  2. Also noticed 2 of my monti digis having bald patch appearing and another bald patch (3rd patch) appearing on my green monti cap although the 1st bald patched already recovered Pretty disheartening as all the water parameters are good as of yesterday

  4. Gruesome plight of my PBT. Finally found it this morning and luckily managed to retrieve it to prevent further ammonia spike. This is what's left after just 2 days missing. So delicate that when I clipped it, the bones were stripped off the flesh. I think good to know also the scavengers in my tank are working well
  5. thanks bro. Yea really unfortunate but not too sure why it happened also. The rest of the tangs are ok though. Understand PBT may be more susceptible also usually. Will lay off any new fishes for the time being I guess. But thanks bro anyway happy hols ahead!
  6. I'm contemplating also on a Flame angel bro but suspect now not good time to add other fishes in view of the white spots suffered by my PBT. Not sure if I should also risk the flame angel whacking my lps. Maybe I shud take a flame hawk instead like u mentioned.

  8. hey bro, it went into hiding since yesterday. Had an ich infestation on the PBT for a few days. Highly suspect is is already dead somewhere in my life rocks man. Will see if I can do a body recovery
  9. Last pic for the time being. Through the side of the tank. Hope u guys enjoyed watching my tank progress
  10. Shifted this monti next to my green trumpet for better contrast of colours
  11. Sps from previous purchases growing nicely after the last major epoxy exercise
  12. 3 new sps for the day. A lime green stag, a light blue 'not sure what' piece and a yellowish milli Here's the yellowish milli. Had such a hard time trying to epoxy it down. Can't quite capture the colour though
  13. Reminiscing the simple first few corals in this tank.
  14. A beautiful deep blue piece which I often don't take too much notice although it's been with me for almost 4 months
  15. interestingly, as the patch heals with barnacle like bump, another patch has appeared on the right side of this monti
  16. Poor pink pocci dislodged and left on the sandbed to heal as I've got no more real estate after the 3 new sps.
  17. Back breaking day. What started out initially as a simple removal of my pink pocci to remove 2 sps eating hairy crab into a mini rescape of some of the sps yet to encrust. Of course, that's also because I bought 3 new pieces of sps from GO today. Here're the hairy crabs caught feasting on my pocci
  18. sorry, this is a little out of point but somehow, this fish reminds me of a mini version of the freshwater giant toman or snakehead. Hehe
  19. Bought a small harlequin tusk fish today. Not the Australians orangey kind though. Sorry for the blur pics as it is moving very fast.
  20. Likewise some update on the product C Balance. I'm currently dosing 60ml for each of the part and it maintains my Cal, dKH and Mg perfectly. In fact, I think can cut down test on Mag as long as dKH and Cal reading is fine since it's ironically balanced. Straightforward application if used with dosing pump and I only have to replenish it every 2-3 months without much fuss. Current parameters as follows: Cal: 440 dKH: 8.5 Mg: 1410 PO4: 0 NO3: 0 Sg: 1.026
  21. Updates on the bubble magus curve 7 skimmer from Razali. 2 thumbs up for performance and easy maintenance since you only need to maintain water level instead of also having to maintain air intake. Considering the price and performance, I'll likely use this brand for quite a while. Here's the skimmate after 4 days
