It's been frustrating updating my thread due to issues with tapa talk, thus the reason for MIA. Decided to just update this specially as I thought this phenomenon to be really interesting. I have a suspicion that I'm witnessing a natural process of a lobo spillting itself into new heads. So exciting. Just to add....my tank is finally gha free for the last 3 weeks. Hi all, Have the above for sale after I stopped using it to combat my green hair algae. It didn't work for me as I realise mine is derbesia but those with bryopsis can give it a shot. Or if u simply want it to raise mg also can. I can't be sure but feels like there is more than half left. I vaguely paid about $70 for this and willing to let go at $30. Do note that I have drilled a hole on the cap to be used with my dosing pump though but have used a tap to cover the hole liao. Collection at Jalan kayu fernvale crest anytime tonight or weekdays after 7.30pm. I work around outram, so can also meet somewhere central over lunch. Thanks.

My fts before the algaex dosing. Unfortunately, it killed my 2 tuxedo urchins and is said to affect clams too. My sps polyp extension lessen also and my frogspawn also did not expand so much now. Closely monitoring situation but it came to a point I'll rather lose some livestock just to wipe out gha! All those with gha should give algaex a try! But again, remember the fundamentals of low phosphate and nitrate should already be in place for a long term solution

Finally found a solution to my gha problem. Fauna marine algaex! Super effective man. After 2nd dose and 60% of my gha already gone. But do note that it will recur if there is no proper tank maintenance. Mine was due to phosphate leeching though and hope this will stem the problem permanently.

Sorry to hear about the incident man and thanks also for sharing with us so that we can all learn and avoid similar mistakes. Take it as new opportunities to restock tank. How's the gha now though? This could well also be my last direct effort if it really clears my tank of gha. But probably will wipe up my corals which are now impossible to remove.

Aquamarin (fishtanks at the back) and ah beng(also those fishtanks at the back where the slugs are) usually have sea hare. You might want to check with them.

Haha. Don't have tips for that leh as I also don't trim my corals. But can be nice also when they form very dense jungles.

You really have a penchant for beautiful scaping, looking at your past tanks. And the colours of those staghorns in your current tank now is just....drool!!! thanks for the inspiration!

Very nice scaping bro! I guess it's equally important to constantly trim the sps once they start growing before the scaping loses it's shape. That was my mistake of letting the sps growth run wild and all the problems started coming like lack of flow, detritus build up etc.
