Got a moorish idol recently though I know odds are against me to get it to feed. Hope it eats soon. Only noticed it pecking on the rocks currently

This green stag somehow doesn't grow upwards as I hoped it would but keep having new branches. It has to contend with a fair bit of warfare with neighbouring orange monti though. I fear that this is the beginning of the end. Jul 13 Feb 14 Jun 14

Love this RGB sps lined up together. Noticed a spurt in growth for the blue stag but the orange digi polyp extension has been not that good of late Oct 13 Feb 14 Jun 14

And a rapidly spreading green star polyps over the glass. Does anyone know if it consumes calcium and carbonates? May need to control its growth if it does since I'm depleting a gallon of C Balance almost once a month

Noticed one of my sps colony's polyp hasn't been opening up as much lately and did some tests last week. Parameters: Cal: 380 dKH: 8.6 Mg: 1260 PO4: undetectable NO3: undetectable Suspect it could be a combination of low calcium and magnesium, in addition to the sps touching each other a fair bit my tank. Took some steps over the weekend including adjusting parameters and doing some pruning. Parameters as of today: Cal: 435 dKH: 9.0 Mg: 1320 PO4: undetectable NO3: undetectable

Tentatively reserved for collection this evening. Will update again if there are any changes

Many nice sps at GO. Plenty of nicely coloured kit kats, ,bright orange monti cap, tri colour valida, pink milles, orange digis, echinatas, and the list goes on. Also the usual nicely coloured LPS like frogspawn, torch, brain, true octo, blastos, acans, many orange yumas, favias, lobos echinatas and the the list goes on. Just a reminder to do some dips before introducing into the tank though. Also same some hairy vrabs among the sps which you should remove before any introduction to yiur system

hi, I do a clean every 2-3 days with a magnet. But I'll scrape the edges with a blade every 1-2 weeks. Thanks for your compliments. Glad u like the pictures

its a powder form but have to dissolve in water before adding into tank. So don't think it is particles landing on it.... Hmmm. But true. Maybe the larger surface area is a cause. Mystery!

thanks bro. So far the shrimps seem ok as they have their hide out caves. But if the wrasses get any bigger, will really be hard to say. Haha

Yea somehow it cannot get fat. My blue tang is super competitive with it during feeding time It's quite a gone case bro. I fragged off all the white parts and left only a stump which was still alive. Hope that part can heal. So weird that it's suppose to be more hardy sps but it seems to get affected most easily

Interesting that the shrimps all have their own spaces and stick to it throughout rather peacefully
