Left with a small piece still intact

Decided to remove the wp25 as it is too strong for my tank with existing wavemakers. In the process, broke off my giant month cap which is at least a foot across.

Reserved.

A rather awkward placement of the wp25 as the supposed dry side of the magnet is submerged in the external overflow. Hopefully the effort will be beneficial though. Already broke my mantra of fixing things when it's not broken. Hand itchy today. chamber.

Decided to get 2 new toys this weekend. One of which is a second hand wp25 wavemaker to create my flow in more and more dead spots. Very impressed and value for money. Only unfortunate thing is that it is not as sleek as the vortech and now my tank looks like there is an underwater camera. The waves generated is awesome though. Which brings me to a second new toy which is a mobile phone. Can't seem to get the correct coloration on the pictures now.

haha. True. Maybe the hermit is also saying "finally got astrea snail shipment"!! I'm not too sure how it compares to turbo snails but have always heard that they are good algae eaters.

Saw many peppermint shrimps at aquamarin yesterday. Hope that helps. -
Can't believe my blue legged hermit already trying to kill one and hijack the shell!!!

Laid hands on 5 spiny astrea snails too. So hard to find nowadays.

Maiden trip to aquarist chamber and bought a small derasa to replace the one I sold off months ago. Pity no vitamin M for the ultra grade croceas. Amazing coloration

Mellow replied to Regal's topic in Weekly LFS Stocks Report / LFS Info Centre
Still many clams to choose from at aquarist chamber. Was there at 5.30pm and saw the following: - Many croceas of assorted sizes (including many high quality ones at a slight premium and normal ones) - Small derasas with blue lining (ard 2-3 inch) and a bigger one. - Cute 1 inch squamosas - Hippo clams (first time seeing them) - Jade green maximas and also golden tear drop ones if I remember correctly - Assorted corals like favias - Many ricordea yumas - Handful if zoas colony - Many spiny astrea snails Those looking for clams might want to consider going down! First time there and I have to say its a real nice environment! Picture of the derasa I got. -
hi Gerald and Sherman, no worries. Basically I just bought a rock of green star polyps and lean the part with the tissue against the glass. After that, nature should take over and slowly grow on the glass. Important thing to note is ensure healthy living star polyp tissue is touching the glass. All the best!

See the black string thingy from sand bed? Any idea what that might be? Sure hope it is not the silicon from the bottom bracing starting to come apart.... Which I think could be the case

Anyone keen on this pink tip elegance? Too big for my tank and getting all squeezed up my surroundings already.

Consensus is that all efforts keeping sps gets unnoticed by people in general (my family members to be exact) and the green stay polyps is everyone's favourite. Haha. Next time I'll just keep star polyps only tank. Cheap and fuss free

Finally getting more adventurous after getting this cuke for months

As promised, more pictures. Burnt monti cap!

But I'm glad it finally went through the baptism of fire relatively unscathed. After cleaning the glass in the afternoon and a quick water change, viola! Since I started this hobby overseas trips have always been stressful man! Only casualty is a burnt portion of my green monti cap too near the frogspawn and the moorish idol which had not feed since the day I got it.. Pleasantly surprised that the corals got wen more packed now and the orange digi is extending its polyps nicely again. Will take more pictures tomorrow when all the lights are on.

After slightly more than 2 weeks without anyone looking after the tank, this is what it looked like when I got back home
