Wow! Great service! But just to confirm, how do you recharge the cannisters? You do decanting? (from big cylinder to small cylinder) or actual recharging? (bring to SOXAL at Jalan Buroh near Jurong Island) to recharge?

Hi, I have a sfiligol chiller 1/4 for sale. Small footprint, low noise and low power consumption. Maximum up to three feet with 1 MH, not more. Comes with external temperature controller. This means that the temperature probe is place in the display tank or sump tank, not in the chiller itself. Hence giving you the true temp of your water which will not be affected by the heat from the chiller. Collect in Tampines, quite heavy. Selling for $400. Selling due to upgrade to an ATMAN chiller. I have it recharged and modified with a valve to allow for easy recharging without having to weld again. If I understand correctly from Reefcentral, the new SEIO pumps is modeled (similar with) after the new RIO Hyperflow which is supposedly better the previous RIOs with none of the "explosive" problems. But that remains to be seen. I was wondering will any of our sponsors like Eaquanature, Seaquest Aquatics Trading, Bio-Ocean Aquarix, X-Glare, E Aquarists', Octopus Bay, Reef Depot or Coral's Ark have intention of bringing it in when available?

Sorry I didnt make myself clear. I'm interested in knowing how they work with the mod. Mainly, is the venturi place before the pump inlet?

Hi, I would like to learn more about the RSB skimmer. I saw the berlin mod with a pump that has an impeller with several more blades than normal. Hence my question is: For the orginal RSB skimmer, it runs on a venturi right? So the pump will pump water through the venturi, drawing in air bubbles, right? Where as for the mod, is the venturi place before the pump inlet? It would make more sense, the venturi draws in air bubbles, the pump impeller further chops up the air bubbles into finer ones? Please kindly enlighthen me, I'm just curious as to how it works!

Hi Fireclown, I think you will need to compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges. What I am saying is that everybody's tank is different. Your tank's heat input i.e. pumps, MH, skimmers, etc all general heat input to your tank and it will be different from mine. So you cannot compare it this way. Since you can have a 2degree pull in just 20 mins, I would say its very good already!

Actually, that is one of the many reasons why we should all try to find out if any reefers stay around where we stay. I have found 2 fellow reefers who stays near me and we baby sit each other's tank when ever anyone of us has to travel or whatever the emergency maybe. It really helps!
