  1. Yup, I know what you mean. thc was the one who showed me how to diy the impeller. I'm just trying out another design. In any case, I still have a backup impeller.
  2. Do you mean the flow chart on the box? If thats the case, I'm not sure which to believe. In any case, I sincerely doubt its really 3000l/hr.
  3. What sticker? I cannot find any sticker that says 2100l/hr.
  4. Can, it can be taken out. Can check out my mod here: DIY Spindle Wheel Impeller
  5. If you are talking about condensors, then its the same with all chillers. Simply remove the casing and vacuum the the metal fins. A brush will help!
  6. Just to add, I'm skimming OK . . . but I believe with a better pump or either a needle wheel or spindle wheel impellor, it can be better.
  7. Yup, its an ATMAN AT-105. I too modified the impellor to a spindle wheel impellor to try and improve the skimming.
  8. Hi five for fighting, just like you to note that the ATMAN AT-105 is indeed 3000l/hr. I've specially taken a photo to try and correct your misunderstanding. Hope you do not mind.
  9. I've running it for the past 3 days. Seems fine (so far). I'll let you guys know if and when it fails. *cross fingers*
  10. Actually I don't think you can fit a 2 feet T5 into a 1.5 feet/18 inch casing. You may have to get another casing!
  11. The 39 watts T5 is slightly less than 3 feet. Hence you will not be able to fit it into a 18 inch casing. Cheers!
  12. Well, if you are refering to how to remove the impellor from the Atman pump, I simply twist off the cap to remove it, and pull out the impellor. Should not be difficult. Are you using an Atman?
  13. I'm using an Atman 105 pump. The impellor cannot be disassembled. I had to file and saw it apart.
  14. Think of centrifugial force. The blades of the impellor does not work like a fan. It draws water into the centre of the impellor and forces it out the circumference to the outlet of the pump.
  15. The blue brush from bro thc. The translucent spacer was sawed off a ball point pen. Used lots of superglue to put it together!
  16. Well, the pics I took are not reflective of the actual situation. My sump is very cramp and I cannot get a good shot. The pics doesn't say anything. What can I say is the bubbles seems smaller, but the noise is louder!
  17. Close up, sorry for the blur pic, no mini tripod lah!
  18. First of all, I like to thank a very important person, thc. Without him, this project would not have materialise. Thanks bro!
  19. Hi Sunray, could you be so kind to enlighthen me on the questions I posted? THanks!
  20. As for accuracy, I do two test. Test One: I use a lab mercury thermometer and read off both temp to see if they are the same. Test Two: Make use of freezing point. Get a beaker of ice, if possible, make the ice out of distilled water. Dip the probe in and see if it will drop to ZERO. If it will drop to zero and not higher or lower, then it is accurate. Better still, do the test with a mercury thermometer. Test one for those with a lab thermometer. Test two if you do not have a thermometer. Quite simple really!
  21. $120??? Does it include the temperature controller and switches???
