  1. Wow! FX Z5!!! Did the UV filter come with the camera?
  2. Applause Applause! Good people deserve a pat on their back. Kudos to jeffcher and Jeffrey.
  3. Hello! Just want to clear up a little confusion here. Correct me if I am wrong, but 13k refers to the colour temperature in units of kelvin. PAR should stand for photosynthesis available radiation right? Cheers!
  4. Hi guys, notice quite a few of us have problem with noisy air inlet for our skimmers. A very simple sure fix for a silencer without decreasing the efficiency of our skimmers is simply to insert a off the shelf bubble counter (those CO2) into the air inlet. All the noise will disappear! Cheers!
  5. Is it a DE or SE bulb? Got glass for UV shielding? Take care!
  6. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...c=1593&hl=nurce
  7. Creetin, out of curosity, are you upgrading your tank? You seem to be selling away quite a few things!
  8. Yup! Interested to get the creative zen micro too. Anybody knows if it will be available? If yes, at what price?
  9. Yeah! Interested to get the FR 1000 as well, anybody knows where to get it?
  10. Hi Sunny, the impeller is working fine. However, for it to work on a Weipro, you need to move the venturi to the pump inlet so that the air gets chopped up.
  11. Wow! Great design Melvin!!! I'm very very impressed!!!
  12. To run two chillers together, you need to plumb it in parallel and both chillers should be controlled by one temp controller. I believe it can be done!
  13. I've been using ME for quite a while and my Mg is steadily decreasing. Seems to me ME is quite low in Mg.
  14. Hi Weishun, I believe I've already answered your question.
  15. Er . . . pic? I only have this at present moment.
  16. Hi to all, I purchased the actual Nurce top-off before the company went bust. That is after I tried to DIY the product with much difficulty. The various containers I used could not hold negative pressure and the hose and adapters I used always leaked. After I bought the NURCE system, I am very impressed by its simplicity. Since installing it, it has yet to fail on me!!! The best thing is that there are no mechanical parts to fail so it is less likely to fail. I believe Octopus Bay has a similar product. Hope this helps!
  17. Its the same as the nurce auto top-off system making use of gravity. Check it out!
  18. hkching, Thats where you went wrong, you should have set to H as you are using your MH to heat your water. Your time delay is correct. Leave your COR alone unless you know how to calibrate your probe (quite simple actually, remember the triple point of water?). For use of delta, see the this example for Heater Function: Set Temp at 27 Delta at 1 At 28 power to device cut At 26 power to device resume hkching, your wiring is also wrong!!! Why is it blue and brown going to your 9 and 10??? Is your blue your live wire? If you understood my instruction, it should be brown in 9, brown out 10. Blue is never used. Remember, your controller does not supply power to your device. It merely acts as a switch. Is this better? You got to follow instructions clearly and read carefully.
  19. You still have to do your Earth and neutral wire for your MH the normal way. Remember only the live wire for the device you wish to control goes to 9 and 10. As for the multi point extension, once again use the simple calculation of P=VI and add a safety factor of 80% for normal usage and see if it goes beyond the limit of FOX-1004. FOr the benefit of everybody who is asking me repeatedly and still will not do the calculation themselves: P= VI P= 230 x 3 P= 690w Considering Safety Factor 80% of 690w is 552w. Remember to account for the surge of your MH when firing up. Hope this helps.
  20. I just checked my wiring for both my chiller (cooler function) and MH (HEater Function). Yes, its 9 and 10 for both so it is neither a normally open nor normally closed circuit. Hope this helps!
  21. Quite easy actually: 1 and 2 goes to your temperature probe. 9 and 10 goes to the live wire of your device 11 and 12 is the power supply for the controller. Simple?
  22. I'm using it to run 2 x 150w MH only so it is enough for me.
