The blue hermit died just died today. Its been less than 2 weeks. Water parameter has been okay. I just noticed that it was not active for the last 2 days and was wondering if it was trying to find a new shell. Today I found it out of the shell and dead on the sand, I wonder if it got terrorised in its sleep by something...

Hi, I have a tiny white feather like worm which comes out of the crevice and 'graps' and withdraw into the crevice... Wondering if this is reef safe or do I need to flush it out with fresh water? Hope it isnt harmful to the torch coral. Thanks

Hi, For reefers, how do we rear hermit crabs, once they outgrow their shells , d we need to plant replacements in the tank? Or do their shell grow with them like the turban snails? Hi, My nano has been doing okay for the last 6 months. But currently I'm experiencing a semi-crash in my nano and I think its to do with the recent growth of the green harir-like algae.. You remove some and it creeps back in. Water parameters are fine...no NO3 and KH is 9. I have cut back on frozen brineshrimp feeding.. I have cut back on light to 6 hours a day I change a bag of water once a week.. But both the jewels are gone, the madarin died.. Please help if anyone can advise on how to cope with this 'crash' and eliminate the green algae... Thanks in advance.

Well I only have a boxer shrimp..that could be it. But I cant rule out the crabs..as I do oftenr hear clicking sound when the lights go out? How do trap a crab?
