was thinking if i used a pressure rated pump, den maybe i can tee-off part of it to the chiller.

IMO $13 is okie, as long as the pump can provide me what i want. I don't want a pump can will give me problems and cant provide me 4 wat i wan... Are there even higher rates of resun md, other den md 55?

but md 55 is pressure rated rite? so it shld have better flowrate... never heard of rio b4... any websites tat provide its stats? can rio be used externally too?

me thinking of using md 55 as my return as well as for my chiller. from sump --> md 55 --> T-joint with valves to control flow --> 1 pipe back to main tank, 1 pipe to chiller and from chiller to main tank... what do u guys think? wld md 55 fit e bill? or juz ehiem 1262?

i wld be predrilling my sump for my return... maybe u can try using flexible hoses for ur case

Hey guys, I am thinking of placing my return pump as well as my chiller pump out of the sump. I am looking into ehiem and resun md. Are these two kinds of pump noisy when use out of water? What is the longest period of time you guys have used b4 these products generate sound?

Hey guys, I am about to custom made a new tank. Size shld be around 3 X 2 X 2 ft Plus a sump as well, etc. I understand that water flow down into the sump from the IOS unit, and water has to be pump back into the main tank using a return pump. What kind of return pump would be suitable for tanks of this size? I have a pump for my venturi pump, and I wonder if i could be used as return pump. The brand is haliea, and has a flowrate of 1750l/h. I wonder if the pipings done for the water to return to the main tank would fit the 'head' of the return pump. How do i go about solving this problem? Thank you guys for your advises!
