would 20k be too blue? means to be tat 14k is quite a balance, but i m not so sure. anyways, is 250W abit too high for a nomal 2ft deep tank? Will it cook the SPS and clams?

Hey guys, After doing so much research in this forum, I realise that its rather important to get an external thermostat for chillers, especially lower end chiller, like mine, CL 650. If not the chiller keep kicking in, and the temperature wouldn't work By the way, where do you guys get your external thermostat and how do you guys install it?

when i set CA - 2. my chiller refuse to kick in, til the water level raises to 29 dc as show by my external thermometer placed in the tank. then when the chiller kicks in, it run a short while, den drop to my preset temp. then stop. after a few mintues, it kick in again. the cycle contiunes. how do i let fine tune it? let say, only actual 1 dc diff b4 the chiller kicks in again.

well, i had all the valves pre installed in my tank already currently, i using md 55 as my return, with tee offs here and there. When i increase the flowrate of the md 55, the water level raises, causing alot of noises in the overflow box. To reduce the noise, i tried to reduce the speed inlet hoses flow to the sump. Whenever i do that, there is not enough flow for the md 55, causing the md 55 to shoot out bubbles. caught in a bad situation.

how do you raise the water level in the overflow box? the more i tried to increase the water level, the greater is the sound...

use a pump! haha...
