This is good testament to people who wish to buy a new filter that Eheim does produce superior products. It comes with a set of tubings etc, but you may wish to buy new ones to compliment to filter. I can't really read the colour chart, the colour seems to be somewhere between 0 and 0.1, so i rather err to the higher. Other than rowaphos etc. are there any livestock i may employ to eat these algae?

Hi Guys, I need help on this man! I have brown algae growing all over my sandbed, and LR. The algae is even photosyntesising (spelling?) and bubbling! How may i get rid of these unsightly algae? Tank parameters NH4 - 0 NO2 - 0.1 NO3 - 10 PH - 8.2 I am using a skimmer (Tunze 3110/2) Lights are On 10hrs a day Feeding mixture of Liquid Coral food, pellets, and mysis shrimp. Please advise

Hi zephyros i'm using 03xT5 dimension of tank: 2"x1.5"x1.5" Limited corals and livestock no chiller 1 fan (but i seem to be getting alot of brown algae growing on the sandbed, and LR, will bring this query somewhere else)

my tank has a height of 18in, so no need for any MH..... The retrofit is not too bad, it is sitting less than 2in above my water surface, and using a fan, i manage to keep the temperature below 30 degree celcius. Only set back is the reflectors are very focused, therefore since i put them so near the surface, i get quite a bit of dark spots. Remedy, get the movable reflectors. in short..... it serves my needs, it doesnt drink electricity, and it gives me good illumination.

Hi, i bought a Tunze 3110/2 and it skims very clear water. It was alright for the first couple of weeks I bought it, dark slimy skim was produced. Until recently, I notice that bubbles have been escaping from the box, and the skim is very clear (only slightly yellowish). How can i remedy the problem?
