anyone ever kept black cukes with Triggers ?? I've 3 triggers in my tank, and they're attacked sandstars before. Wouldn't want them to attack a cuke should i get one.

At Ah Beng's today. Like what some people mentioned : 2 small red warty frogs cat sharks many many cardinal fishes med emperor small and med majestic assorted fans black sponge triggers ... (lotsa them) and 1 interesting fish, a flounder with leopard markings ... An eye-opener for me at least. Irwana - not much fish, fans ..... (grape-like ones) Orange /red / multi-coloured mushies

Dead ...refused to eat dry food ... No time to wean it so ....sigh ... Saw 1 antennata at AM couple of days ago. Not bad ....they had a couple of fuzzys too .... But my advice is to wait when the season comes ... Then you'll get plenty of choices .... The fu manchu still eats only live food ??? Should be right ? hhaa I got my Volitans to eat pellets/flakes/whatever ...

Oh my volitans can definitely swallow any of my 4 azure damsels with ease. Just the fact I gorge him on pellets and flakes all day long ....(got a timer) He's been living with them for almost a year ...

Maroon Clown is a definite ok. My 5" volitans ignores it. He also ignores my four 2" Azure Damsels (believe it !) ,3" Velvet Damsel, 2" Clown Trigger ,2" Undulated Trigger, 3" Flame angel, 4" Peacock Wrasse, x" Snowflake Moray. However sometimes he chases my 4" Picasso trigger (which ironically is the most dominant in the tank) ..... Spikes down and charges him ........

Have a clown trigger too... 1 of 3 in the tank ... Dominant Picasso (1st addition) 2nd Clown (gives up almost 3" to the Picasso, so deferred to it) 3rd addition is an Undulate which bullies the clown ....so i think i got a timid clown ?? Just sharing

Forgot to update - Irwana - lotsa fans, small foxfaces ... Ah Beng - lotsa Flame Angels, lotsa angels period, assorted wrasses, volitans of various sizes, purple tangs ... AM - Black / Indian triggers (can't differentiate, supposed to be reef-safe), tiny clown triggers, lotsa clams, nice white warty frogfish ... That's all I remember

Anyone bought those "Baby Anemones" from Ah Beng or T95 can help to ID what they are exactly ?? Are they pests ? Thanks ! !

Dwarf Zebra / Fuzzy / Antennata / Volitans / Miles For Radiatas and Fu Manchu they're not that common. AM posts what lionfish they have. The rest of the shops you'll need to check or wait for forum ppl to post. Spotted 2 days ago at T95 - Nice Antennata . But only 1 there though.

Clouded or Snowflake MORAY Eel ..... Believe it or not the moray was afraid of the cowfish ..... My moray's still a juve and quite well-tempered ....eats from my hand.

ANyways ....bought a small cowfish ... Was doing fine ....wasn't afraid of any other fish .. And it hated my moray ...kept chasing it back into the rocks ... It was feeding fine too .... Then about a week later ..... One night I noticed it had a broken horn .... Then it died the next morning ......weird .............

My first marine tank leh ..... Just know that there is algae .... (because most of my fish are predatory so nitrates are off the charts) have some hairy ones ....abit ... And what just looks like normal algae on sides of walls ... Tried an algae blenny .... Got killed by my Grouper ..... Might try Tangs next ...

Need to clear leh ...... No predator lovers ???

Tried several types of snails .... Had 5 Turbos which died in one week ... Probably killed by my wrasse ...

Question : Is the yellow tang suitable for controlling algae ? (i mean I don't have much alage, but will it eat them ?) My cowrie only eats the algae on the LR and never ventures out. Or should I get an Algae Blenny ?

Missing ? Any aggressive fishes in your tank ? Thought boxfish were pretty ok at taking care of themselves. Had a Bangai Cardinal once ...(full grown) ... Went missing after 30 mins ......never saw it again ...haha

Saw some at Reborn on Friday ..... around the size you want ...can check it out ... Heaps of sand stars at Reborn also ....BIG ones available ...

Good flow or not .... Think smaller boxfish will be safer ... Size relative to amount of toxin rule ... Thus have been looking for mini Cowfish ...... If anyone sees one let me know !!

Triggers ? They'll kill any crustaceans ..

That's an understatement .... I believe many an aquarists' girlfriend has fallen in love with this family of fishes ... And I really feel like trying one out in my tank ... The only worry of course ...is the toxin .... So no one ever tried Boxfish with Triggers ????

yeah I figured as well .....hence the non-purchase. But I added a Sailfin Tang recently ...and its fine ....then it caught ich and died. Missing the colour yellow in the tank ...
