  1. Congrats Bryan for owning such a gem. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Thanks FuEL, I am now not inclined to keep SH in my fuge anymore. Can recommend any other creatures that I can keep in my fuge?
  3. Ya spikes no toxin... but I keep thinking their spikes will disturb the corals as the urchin roams.
  4. Wow... so you still dare to keep an urchin? What if it starts poking some corals like zoas who will emit toxins in the water when they felt danger?
  5. Ya, AM still carry a few of the tuxedos. Was there y'day.
  6. Best to indicate the sizes for the fishes. And where to collect.
  7. Hahaha thats a good one. So, bro Hwee, tomorrow I buy a bag of frag plug T-loan to you. Return me after 6 months hor.
  8. Wah. Agree w the reefers here. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  9. What is the pump size you r using on this FR? i used a 1000l/hr on my H2 Ocean and its not tumbling ... Seems like underpowered pump even though the H2 Ocean recommended that size. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Anyone? Refractometer? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

  13. Quite a few. These are the few usually engaged by reefers here. Aquarium Artist (Vincent) / Iwarna (Victor) / N30 / Coral Reef Some of those who are savvy and keen to DIY design to the last millimetre + DIY pipings, will go the glass cutters (eg Atlantic, which is nearby GO) directly. She will recommend you a seperate cabinet maker. The very few who are keen on acrylic... will try I-Aquatic (Ian). Acrylic not quite advisable unless u are the super careful type, who will not scratch the surface (often).
  14. Thanks for advice. I added a filter sock to the outlet of the skimmer. So far so good. Besides trapping microbubbles, it also seems to work well as an additional mechanical filter. Its been there for about 5 days and there are some light brown stains emerging on the sock.
  15. Haa. Same dimensions as mine. Feel free to call me to discuss over kopi or something . I learn a bit through from this tank. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Thinking of the same thing. Realised the NSW salinity is really quite low. Just added a few big scoops of the salt into the sump to try and boost it up. Anyone changing water using NSW do the same? ie. supplement with some scoops of salt?
  17. Inspired by bro Hwee's tank. Where to find good specimen of Luminous GSP?
  18. Nice carpet ! Wonder how it is done? Low flow to the GSP?
  19. My tank so far. Added a mushroom first. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  20. Tx James. Yah. Its a powerful workhorse for my old 2 feet tank. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

  24. Sucks. When I set up my tank, I didnt take in to this chiller piping or route into consideration. I think best practise is get a slightly overpowered return pump. Then do this: return pump ==> chiller ==> main tank Currently, mine is just : return pump ==> main tank. Without any consideration for the chiller. Now headache liao, thinking if I should (1) engage the piping guy to come by and redo the pipes? Means pay some more $$$ for the work. I am v poor in DIY, wouldnt be brave enough to DIY something as critical as pipings. Or (2) buy another pump just to pump to chiller and then back to main tank... messier and ugly and yes, one extra pump, one extra heat and electrical bill. Sianzzz....
