    Thanks both for advice. You are right. . it's a little hard to keep the skimmer consistant. bcuz the width is only 21 inches, first chamber is 8 inches. left approx 12 inches for return pump and skimmer . Unable to add another glass panel as per advice of the tank maker. Still waiting for the skimmer to kick in now and will monitor from then on.

    Lots of Rics at Iwarna. Plenty of small purple tangs too. Some pink anemones left. couple of nice viet zoas.

    Dear all, I am planning to do a 3 feet length by 1.75 feet width by 1 feet height Frogfish tank. It will be an IOS system with low wooden stand or cabinet so that I can have the view from the top. The idea of this tank is to shift my frogfish to a bigger place, as well as upgrade my skimmer to a more powerful one. Shortlisted skimmers are Deltec SC 1455 internal skimmer, as well as Skimz Monzter E Series SM161 model. Initial pump would be a Tesino 231 model pump with 3500 litres/hour at only 25 watt! However, seems like it is serious overkill for my tank. Hence, would like to seek some advice on the suitable size pump and recommendations or feedbacks on the two skimmers selected.

    Good Day, have a two weeks old Oceanfree 34 Litres Nano Tank for sale. Comes with internal pump, led lights and filtration system. Additional item will be a Dymax cooling Fan. Bought the set brand new at $138.00. Looking at $90.00. In mint condition. Also have a bUbble Magnus NAC QQ skimmer for sale. Bought at $80.00 plus one and half weeks ago. Looking at $60.00 Both tank and skimmer package price at $130.00

    Recommended to keep in shallow tanks for easy feeding. It is truly an amazing fish. Feeding can be quite expensive if you use chromis or damsels etc. Problem with molly or ghost shrimp is that they do not last long in saltwater and you will have to clean the dead leftovers later.

    bro I am assuming your tank is place outdoors. Might have algae issues in the long run. : )

    Bro, My enthusiasm for this hobby has been up and down since I started my first marine tank 16 years ago. I have had tank crash. . unsuccessful attempts with certain corals and fishes etc. . change 6-8 tanks over the duration. . but eventually I still come back to the hobby. I think the most impt thing is to have the patience and friendships with other fellow reefers. It is boring to go to the farm alone to handpick corals or do everything urself. . but it changes when you "chiong" together with other reefers. Let me know if it's convenient to pop by your place, I would like to see your set-up. Always like rimless and cube tanks.

    I just came back from ah beng. dun need waste time. Only a few pieces. looks like wild to me. Nothing impressive.

    None at Pinnacle. or maybe 4-5 pieces brownish ones. Iwarna sps on sat mostly taken up. Left a few pieces. Ah beng likely to come in sps shipment sunday 12pm.

    I think there's too much green and not enuff red. Gonna hunt the farms. Wish list includes GSP, RBTA, Clams, Zoas etc. . Btw Ah beng coming coral shipment tmr. Cheers!
