  1. bro, 3336 is far too smaller than 3338, even the 3337 model has a big difference with 3338... anyway, he agreed to let go for $50.... any takers?
  2. try to adjust the red knob... usually i 'tone' it everyday to make sure it's level is enough and the skimming is effecient
  3. yup... montipora... i bought a frag months ago from a fellow reefer for $5, now happy n healthy in my tank.... i saw a medium size frag at aq** fa*** last sunday, selling at $30
  4. bro, my colleague bought it for $130... anyway, im just helping out.. will ask him tom if ever he could go down to ur prices...... let u know by then....
  5. helping a colleague who asked me to post his external filter for sale. model atman 3338 bought a year ago, used on his marine tank. asking price is $70. interested parties just leave reply or pm
  6. i would say it would be more practical and thrilling to set up your own... slowly... it's a learning process and u would see the fruit of ur patience and dedication to reefing as time goes by.....
  7. what's the exact dimension r u looking at? glass thickness? overflow system?
  8. takes a hacksaw to slice that tough plastic cover...
  9. yeah...true... i put the cr pump in the sump n its too weak a current, considering i have 2 90deg turns from pump to scwd and another 2 90deg turn for each outlets, PLUS my head loss, tank is standing 5ft high but then again, stucked my cr in my main tank and walah!!! there goes my strong current...
  10. its just a simple device wherein ur powerhead/pump is connected to a 'y' or 't' outlet and it will simultaneously flow from one end to the other thus making a it a double headed snake.. heheheh.....
  11. 1262... err... what's the flowrate? problem with scwd is if flowrate is weak, it tends to just 'flow out' and the switching is slow.... if flowrate is strong it bursts out really good but the switching is fast thus making the currents made shorter... it would be great if u could adjust it perfectly considering the pump flowrate, ur head loss, and pipe turns and lengths....
  12. i cant take my eyes off those reactors.. all booked ... now i know hehehehe..... how much did those reactors sell off anyway? even asked them if any new stocks would come in but they said adec is their local distributor, asked adec then they say only do wholesale and just wait for lfs to sell 'em.... aiyah... middleman after middleman, there goes the $$ up....... hope to hear a review though from those reactors.... sorry
  13. mind sharing what pump r u guys using to drive the scwd? im using cr-4900, 3500l/h but i want more surge... hehehe... any idea? was even thinking of overdriving my return sump then use it as well to drive the scwd... any advise?
  14. try daniel from kelantan lane... hp no. 9696-9366 he did my tank n sump.....
  15. bro, im cool about that.. really sorry if i came in too rude for u, didnt meant to send the wrong message but was just hoping u would consider taking it slowly.... happy reefing dude!!!
  16. hi! just check out the size of my hose --> its 16mm internal 20mm external... fits just right.. of course its a bit tight to sleeve it in, or it wont serve the purpose it was made for... piece of advice: try to cut the hose a bit into the section so it will come in a bit, from there u would have to force ur way through.... roidan, my offer is always open if in case u cant find lobang.....
  17. i saw some good ones last saturday at Harle****; green and brown ones... others like hammerheads, torches, suncorals, elegant corals as well..... but pricewise.......
