I've used a KH test kit from Aqumedi(some ulu brand) before. Something very similiar to yours too. If im not mistaken, after every drop you are suppose to swirl the test water in the vial abit. Yes, the 1st drop is counted. For my test kit, it says
"Shake after each drop until the colour turns from blue over green into yellow. The number of drops is equal to the carbonate hardness(dKH).
Hope this helps. For your case, i'll interperate your test result as having a carbonate hardness of 10dkh. This is just a guide, check with the LFS you got the test kit from, they'll be able to advice you better.
