Erm, did you just install the skimmer? Skimmers normally takes a few days to "break in" and work properly. Don't worry, its normal. As for the microbubbles, maybe you can try adjusting the flowrate abit. Is the skimmer adjustable?

You can get dedicated FRs to run your media like Rowa and carbon...make them more efficient than putting them into bags...

If you are abit tight on budget, get a REsun...cheap and pretty realiable. Alternatively, you can browse through the pasar malam forum, there are chillers on very reasonable prices once a while.

LoL....ah well, i might be keeping a small tank as i mentioned for my wife's boxfishes. Just a small 1 that requires minimal maintenance. Hehe, who knows 1 day i might be back....must save up 1st.

Hrmz, i guess most if not all of the auto feeders are water resistant....don't really get your question. Are you looking for a in submergeable feeder?

Hrmz, imo...no matter how "cycled" your LRs are, a mini cycle will still start during the transfer. The LRs, sand can go immediately into the new tank with NSW but for LS and corals, i'll suggest waiting for abit and make sure your water parameters are ok before transferring them over. Btw, why not make a jump and upgrade to a 5 footer instead. 3 to 4 like not much diff. Just my own opinion...

Hrmz, did you let your tank cycle before you added any LS? Any LRs in your tank? Are you using any bacteria housing media like biohome and such? Understand that your fishes are showing signs of being unwell, maybe you can deposit them at someone else's tank and wait till you get your water parametes correct before taking them back. Hrmz, why sacred? Any issues about the UV lamp raising your water temperature? Thats about the only thing im worried about.
