  1. Opps...my bad...wasn't paying enough attention...haha. Never use this product before so cant give you any help...sorry....
  2. That would be a great product, im too poor to use a RO/DI unit for my water so have to rely on a good water conditioner....
  3. Couple of harlequin shrimps at AM, and some mantis shrimps...
  4. Yeah, a clearer pic would be great...but it sures looks like a nudi or sea slug. Really looks like a certain sea slug i've seen retailing at LFS before.
  5. If you are looking for something small, a RG is a nice fish to have, brillant colours and they stay small. A group of blue-eyes anthias makes a fascinating sight and they are pretty easy anthias to keep. A pair of percs perhaps? Or a single lionfish, heard they are pretty disease resistant. Well, there are lots to choose from. Go visit some sites, do abit of research....liveaquaria is a nice site to check out the fishes, they even list their difficulty. Not a bad place to start.
  6. Hrmz, i think a conditioner will only help in removing traces of chlorine. Do not think they'll remove those metal elements....
  7. Hmrz, i guess you'll still need to do abit of dosing in order to keep the parameters in the optimum level. The salt you use only helps abit in my opinion as the minerals will be depleted pretty fast if you have lots of corals. Im sure you do not want to change your water every 2 to 3 days to replenish the minerals. It'll be impractical if your tank is quite big. Anyway, this is my own views only, not very experiece in this...
  8. Great looking and healthy fishes...the angels are nice...too bad most of them arent reef safe....
  9. Looks like a nudibranch to me.....btw, the smaller pic is clearer...
  10. Hrmz, come to think of it, do i still need to use a water conditioner if i use bottled distilled water?
  11. Nice and clean looking tank, love your clean clean sandbed... Oh, be careful about putting corals too close together, eg, your bubble and jewel....one of them might get stinged.
  12. Haha, someone else's la, passed by a LFS on my way to my parents' place and they had lots of shrimps loaded wth eggs, so got one back to accompany my lonely cleaner shrimp.
  13. Hrmz, my orange ones opened fully the very next day (even with lights on), so i was wondering if the yellow type is any different from the orangy ones...ah well, hope they'll open soon....
  14. If your water conditions arent right and your lights arent strong enough, i think the anemone will keep on moving around the tank trying to find a comfortable spot. May i know what kind of lights you are using?
  15. Haha okayz, Will just leave it there and not stress it anymore by shifting it here and there....
  16. Hrmz, i have no idea, but i visit it occasionally to chk out what LS the shops have...otherwise just put it in this "New to the aquaria hobby" thread....guess more newbies wld visit here.
  17. My yellow sun corals doesn't open up nicely the way the orange does. Its always like that...any tips?
  18. Since theyb are so small, have to be careful about what LS u add in, some fishes and inverts will prob pick them off 1 by 1 for supper...
  19. Maybe in the " Weekly LFS Stocks Report / LFS Info Centre" thread?
