Hrmz, i had a long nose and an algae blenny together before and they pretty much leave each other alone. I guess as long as your tank is big enough with many hiding spots, shouldn't be much of a problem keeping them together.
I think even a dwarf lionfish will proberbly outgrow your tank. Its gonna be pretty crowded especially after you factor in the space for liverocks and such.... As hammy has mentioned, you prob will not need a chilelr for a fish only tank...the fans that come with the cube will do fine. Just watch out for evaporation...looking fwd to seeing your tank.
Haha, CF has lots of rocks to choose from. But its pretty inaccessible if you do not have your own transport. Herad ML has quality rocks sometimes too....you might want to call and check....
HRMz, I do not think algae blennies clean the sandbed. Think they target the LRs and tank walls more often... And yes, ML frequently carries the sand dollar. No1 has any experience on whether a sand dollar or a sea cuke does the cleanup better??
I guess if its still eating, doesn't look particularly stressed out, and theres no other LS which will disturb it, just leave it in the tank and monitor it. The wound should heal pretty fast...
Hrmz, thanks for the repy ian, don't really understand the part about laminar flow. And oh, do you think dosing Marine Snow is enough to meet their minimum feeding requirement?
Agree with dieran that the lionfish will prob have your percs and damsels as snacks. Unless you get a super small sized specimen that it....generally they are not mixed with fishes smaller than them.
Mine wasnt able to compete with its fellow tank mates for food, got so thin and sickly looking... the one i had like to stand on some of my corals too, causing them not to extend.
Maybe the fish was injured or already dead when the anemone decided to make a meal out of it. Have not heard of any instances here of anemones eating clowns....
