Blue tangs are pretty affordable....bought mine less than $20 a few months back, now its like so fat....but still as timid as ever.... The flame hawk is one of my more expensive fishes, was pretty shy at the beginning and i actually wondered at 1 point if it would die from hunger. It has started feeding a week back and perches on rock in the open more frequently now. Oh, forgot the price...bought it ard $60. Actually my setup isn't really expensive. All the equipment adds up to around 1.5k. Thats what some people pay for just a chiller or their lighting. Im a poor guy.... Anyway, thanks for visiting....

Erm, think your shrimp is proberbly dead or dying before your crab got it. Don't think a crab can grab a shrimp 4 times its size that easily.....

Hrmz, i've not really seen any small salt packages for the more recognised brands. Why not just get a sack and stre them in a container. They have indefinate shelf life if you kee them dry.... Keep a lookout on the pasar malam section, maybe you can get a piece of rock from fellow reefers who are selling them.

Haven seen such anemones retailing before but they certainly aren't as stunningly colourd as that....

Hrmz, how does the london aquarium compares with the underwtare world back here? I've been to one in France and it was nowhere close to the one we have back in SG. The only thing i hate about the underwater world is its too CROWDED!

Thanks for the kind words....actually it doesn't matter whether your tank is big or small, its how well you maintain it that matters. I've seen lots of stunning small tanks kept by the bros here. The red button poylps on the bottom left hand side? I got them from ah bengs about a month back. Costed me around $15 if im not wrong. It looks abit brown under white lights and red under atanic.

Sometimes it takes a few days to break in....after that you'll have to try and error and see what the optimum setting for your skimmer is. Whether you want a wetter or dry skimmate....

As a general guide.....green and brown coloured corals are the cheapest.....

Get it to a low flow area and place them on top of pieces of rocks, they'll reattach themselves in time. My zoos did that..... Be careful that you do not have any LS or inverts that will topple them though..

Read the instructions, think it says to tune the water level to just below the neck...where the packing seal is....

Yeap....agree that having realiable testkits are much more safer. Began with aquamedic and once i finish them will switch to salifert. Heard its 1 of the more realiable brands ard....

Hrmz, cant really id them positively, when did they appear? Maybe you'll be able to id them if they get abit bigger. Meanwhile i'll suggest doing nothing drastic....just monitor it for the next few days, like i said, your fishes will proberbly be picking them off one by one even as we speak...

Hrmz, do you have any LS that seemed pregnant lately? In my opinion, you won't have to worry much if you have fishes in your tank, they'll eat them up.... Post a pic and we might be able to id it better?
