Hrmz, are sea stars really that hard to keep alive? I guess if your tank is matured enough, they shouldn't hve much problems settling down in it. Starfishes are scavangers, i do not bother with target feeding them. In fact, i never bothered with target feeding my corals too.... The blue tang would proberbly have been very weak or dying by the time your brittlestar of cleaner shrimp got to it. A healthy blue tang would be nearly impossible to catch for them. Anyway, maybe you can get BTs around the size of 1.5 inches and above. They are easier compared to the really tiny ones.

When you detect a jump in your PO4 readings or detect extra growth of nuscience algae in your tank than normal, its time to change your rowaphose.

Get the white cocos if you see them, they cost much lesser than the red varieties and they look stunning as well. By the way, coco worms can see?

Hrmz, yes...you can put Rowa in your cannister filter, thats what im doing now, the down point is that using rowa in a cannister will never be as good as running it in a dedicated FR. If your tank has the space, i'll seriously recommand you to get 1, its a good piece of equipment. Check the pasar malam section, think i saw 1 reefer selling his for aroung $50 with some media as well, good steal.

Hrmz, got the impression from some reefers that Aquascience tubes are better than ATIs. Maybe you can check with the LFS if they have them and trade in the original tubes. Hrmz, wondering if 14 or 20k bulbs would be better then the 10k ones.

Found it! Nothing very special though, in fact lots of tanks had dead fishes inside. Some assorted corals/damsels/blue tangs/triggers.

Missing damsel? Hrmz, i doubt there are any crabs that can catch a healthy damsel. Maybe it has died and the body is hidden under or behind your rockscape?

I'll presume you are staying somewhere central? If so you could visit Reborn and Paradiz Reef along Lavander Street and a short distance(5 mins by cab/bus) is SeaLife. Golden Octo alog Upper Serangoon Road has ncie corals. What specificaly will you be looking for?

NoNo....haha, just for additional protection of the bottom glass panel. Heard alot of benifits about going BB but i still prefer abit of substrate in my tank. Will proberbly go for Grade 0 sand below and a layer of grade 1 sand on top. Currently i only have grade 0 sand in my tank, they get stirred up pretty easily.

Hrmz, if i were to put a sheet ot arcylic on the tank bottom before i lay my LRs/substrate on it, will it be ok cause the arcylic will somehow protect the glass on the bottom of the tank?

Hmz, are eggcrates that stable? Actually i prefer using all LRs ,can hole more beneficial bacteria too. But of course, packing the LRs too tightly will restrict flow between them. Ah well, save up save up save up! If i don't, my new tank might never come. Oh, is there a 5FT max restriction on fish tanks sizes for hdb apartments?

Got it from reef n nature....was lucky and managed to come across this huge specimen. They had another 1 Ft sized cateye bubble....if only my tank had space....
